I tried to get the coupon, but I kept getting an error message saying “too many records.” Wondering whether site has been overloaded. Sounds like others have been getting same message. Anyone have any ideas?

Crystal November 17, 2011 at 3:57 pm: Yes, it seems like it stops working when the system gets overloaded. Keep trying and hopefully you’ll get it to work.

If anyone finds a fix for the “too many records” message aside from just trying again, let us know.

I did this deal at Vitacost.com this morning & it worked fine. Crystal- it’s actually 18 bars because there are 6 bars per box (3 boxes).

How do you actually get the coupon code? I signed up and received an e-mail, but it was about the Vitacost Rewards Program and didn’t have a coupon code in it.

For those that were able to get this to work for you, did you just follow Crystal’s direction? I really would like to get this to work for me and am just wondering if you encountered any difficulty. Did you get both the initial $10 discount and the refer a friend? Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Crystal November 17, 2011 at 9:30 pm: You’ll just get $10 off to use on the Clif bars. However, you can also refer friends and earn credit, too. However, you cannot combine both discounts, from what I understand.
