Wait! These are SO CUTE!! And would be perfect for a talent show costume or 70s outfit along with everyday precious little one wear. Love it.

My mom used to do something like this to make our pants last longer. Instead of getting rid of those pants that are highwaters, but fit everywhere else, add a ruffle. My mother also used lace or a thick ribbon. Whatever it takes!

I love that capris are so popular. Girls can get a lot more wear out of pants — still in style when they get too short but fit everywhere else. The ruffle is cute for playing dress-up tho.
