As many of you know, I love scarves and think they are one of the best accessories for a minimalist wardrobe in the cooler months.
My friend, Angie, knows this and sent me this video with 25 ways to tie a scarf. I found at least 10 new scarf-tying ideas from it and thought I’d share it for those of you looking for new ways to creatively accessorize using scarves you already have!
Caitlin says
Wow! I wish I could remember how to do all of them…
Barbara says
I found some breast cancer awareness scarves (they were pink) on clearance at Target.

This is a really cool video. I only know how to wear a scarf about 3 or 4 ways. Thanks for sharing!

I posted this very same video 3 days before you, on my blog!! haha 😀 I wonder if one of your readers is reading my blog…that would be SO cool!
Monica says
Can’t wait to try some of these styles!
Kim says
luv, luv, luv this
Stacy says
Cute, but I swear scarves are NOT for people with round faces like me. Neither are turtlenecks. They both just make me look like a bowling ball, so I’ll have to pass on this trend.
Julie says
Great ideas! I’m wondering if you all have ideas of where I can pick up scarves?
Thanks!
saskia says
scarves, scarves! try a great local boutique for beautiful fabrics and great designs at awesome prices OR pick a fabric you love at a fabric store, have it cut to the length you desire and have fun 🙂

Thanks so much! This is very helpful

This video was totally cool to watch! I shared it with my sister in CT–she wears a lot of scarves! I don’t feel the need for a scarf here in FL, but this video made me want to try anyway! 🙂

I loved it but I think one of those was a repeat.
Girl #6 and girl #23, or did I miss something different?
Sasha says
#6 was an infinity folded on the diagonal and 23 the scarf was folded starting on the pleat instead of the diagonal. Its explains it in her tutorial videos that go a little more in depth. You can click them to watch at the end of the video. 🙂

Where do you find your scarves? Are there any place online you shop at?
Angie says
Ever since college (22 yrs ago) I’ve been finding cool scarves at the local Good Will or thrift stores! Great for using as scarves, or make Barbie clothes out of them 😉
Jennifer says
I love this! Since my “uniform” is typically dark jeans + t-shirts (short sleeved in summer and long in winter) and I am not too big on jewelry, I love to add scarves to add some style to my day. I am always doing the same thing though… It’s so nice to have new ideas! I’m adding a green scarf in the “waterfall” right now! 🙂
Myra @ My Blessed Life says
LOVE it! I’m a scarf lover as well! I saw this video the other day and gained a few new ways to wear scarves! 🙂

Thanks for sharing! I LOVE scarves now (didn’t until recently) and have gotten a couple (including one that I got a JCP along with a tshirt and shorts for my son on clearance for less than $1 total after tax and a $10 coupon) recently. I plan to start wearing them soon and was experimenting with my new one. I had 4 different ways that I liked (a few more I figured out but didn’t like them on me) but this video gave me a few more ideas. 😀
Jen (Balancing Beauty and Bedlam) says

This is AWESOME! Duh…you can make your own infinity scarf! Genius.
She also has a tutorial at the end. FYI…Coldwater Creek has really nice scarves and they are always on sale. I just ordered one today for $8.99 and free shipping. Sometimes, the scarves are even less…$4.99. And, if you don’t like it, you can always return it to one of their stores.
