I was just about to use this one at Target! Thanks for the heads up!

Lori September 30, 2011 at 1:19 pm

Am I the only one who thinks this gadget looks absolutely ridiculous?

Carin September 30, 2011 at 1:51 pm

Nope, you are not!

Melissa September 30, 2011 at 2:52 pm

Lorrene September 30, 2011 at 3:11 pm

Amy September 30, 2011 at 5:06 pm

I just bought these at Walmart for $3.97. They had a huge display of them and I used my coupon!

I’m confused…these coupons are for the new One Step toilet bowl cleaner, not this cheaper kit. Will they still take it?

Samantha September 30, 2011 at 10:51 pm

I’m confused.. this coupon is valid on the new One Step toilet bowl cleaner, not the older one that is pictured here. Your cashiers still took it?

Samantha September 30, 2011 at 10:52 pm

oops, sorry for the repeat!

So I went to Walmart and they had some of these on the self. When I got the checkout they rang up $9.97. I brought out my paper and said they are $3.97. They said the picture did not match. The one in the picture had a yellow strip on the box and the box I had did not have a yellow strip on it. So they would not match the price. Even though the every thing else was the same. Walmart just makes me so mad and the are so hard to work with. I am about done with walmart all together.

Just had the same exact issue! Went to one and they didn’t have any with the packaging shown in the ad, just the plain packaging & it rang at $9.97. They price matched it after staring at it for about ten minutes, and then I went to another where they had the identical packaging shown & because I got a coupon-ignorant cashier that thought “Valid Coupon Amount?” meant that it wasn’t right, called someone over & she swore they weren’t starter kits. Ugh!!

I found these this morning (unadvertised) at my Walmart in AZ. They rang up at $9.97. I found them in the ad and they happily changed the price for me. I got 2 of them completely free (with a .06 cent overage which I applied to the rest of my transaction!) Thanks Moneysavingmom!

marisol October 2, 2011 at 12:54 pm

Same thing here!:( They are 9.97 at my store and my insert didnt even had a walmart add for me to show:( So dissapointed.

ArmyWife October 2, 2011 at 1:33 pm

I went to my walmart today and they had two left on the shelf, priced at $9.97. So I thought well maybe they just forgot to put the sale price on them since there are only two left. Took them up to the register and they rang up $9.97. So obviously I told her I didnt want them. So much for that deal! I’ll check out the dollar general deal store!

Chanel October 2, 2011 at 2:20 pm

They rang up at $9.97 at my walmart too, unfortunately I didn’t take my ad, and for some weird reason there weren’t any ads in the store today. Very frustrating.

Tess October 2, 2011 at 8:58 pm

They weren’t on sale at my walmart either :( I just grabbed a package of gel toilet cling-ons that were priced at $3.97 and the cashier rang it up without even seeing it was the wrong product!

barbara October 2, 2011 at 10:51 pm

i went to my Walmart at 7am and me and one other person were looking for the kits.all the sales people could find were the $9.97 older ones.once they found the shelf tag they scanned it and said they were out, they haven’t got the new ones in yet. that’s stupid since the ad came out today and they weren’t even shipped to stores yet. but they gave me a rain check when they do come in

I got mine at Wal-Mart on an end cap for -$.03 ($3.97 minus $4.00 coupon). Once I got it home and opened the box, I found 2 coupons for $3.00 off of another set and a coupon for a BOGO on the refills. Im heading back to Wal-Mart tomorrow!

Julie October 3, 2011 at 8:27 pm

None of the Walmart’s in my area (Dallas, TX) has it. Neither does Dollar General. Ahhhh I’m sooooo bummed out bc I wanted to grab them while the coupon is valid. I’m going to be so mad if they don’t ever get it.

Jennifer October 4, 2011 at 12:22 am

Both stores I went to were super helpful. They still had these in the back and hadn’t stocked them yet. They look just like the boxes in the picture and ring up at 3.97. Only the ones in those boxes will ring up right. Great deal. Thanks!

Rachel October 4, 2011 at 11:34 am

I am totally frustrated with the two Walmarts in my area. I had the “old box/new box” issue, and they refused to a) price match their own ad which I picked up at the front of their store or b) offer a rain check on the ones they don’t have. This was on Sunday before lunch, the same day on which the ad “starts” I truly feel like this is a classic bait and switch scheme and am very disappointed in the service on this issue. :-( Boo from an avid Walmart shopper!

Deana October 5, 2011 at 2:40 pm

Why not price match the walmart ad at Target and get the scrubbing bubbles there and use your coupon(s)? Target price matches as well.

Elle (@Cleverlychangin) October 5, 2011 at 4:05 pm

I really needed this one, but our Walmart will not take coupons printed off the internet.

Chanel October 5, 2011 at 9:12 pm

Print out their coupon policy and take it in with you, they have to take it. As long as it’s valid and legible. The employees at my walmart are pretty clueless too. I always make sure to have the coupon policy handy, just in case they do something dumb : )

Elle (@Cleverlychangin) October 5, 2011 at 9:33 pm

Ok, I will try it. The cashier usually acts annoyed.

Maryanne October 5, 2011 at 7:01 pm

These rang up 9.97 on 10/2 at my Walmart in Northern CA

Michelle W October 5, 2011 at 11:18 pm

I didn’t have any problems at my Walmart store in Glendale, AZ. Make sure you get the one pictured which is a Refill with a Free Holder. My store had a whole display of them. It is a Special Buy so once they are gone, they can’t get more.
