Love these sayings you post!! Reminds me of the saying attributed to Thomas Edison, “The harder I work, the luckier I get.”

I’ve also heard, “The grass is always greener on the other side, but both sides have to be mowed.” Blooming where you’re planted, especially in dirt, produces amazing plants. Thank you for posting these quotes. They are encouraging!

We say this all the time around our house! Love it!

Wow. I’ve never heard this and I love it! Thanks for sharing. :) By the way, are these Pinterest images that you post? They are super cute!

I have a variation I been requoting for years…..

“The grass is greener over the septic tank.”

This one has a different connotation, more for those who believe having something (or someone) else is better.

My computer is in my kitchen – where I spend a ton of time. When you started posting these phrases, I began saving them as a picture on my computer and put them all into one file. That file is my screen saver – so when I’m in my kitchen doing any number of things, I have these phrases coming up as my screen saver…right there for myself and all of my kids to be encouraged by! They are wonderful reminders and I am so happy that you started posting these! Thank you!

This is one of those quotes that may be a literal for me, but we are in Texas and having an incredible drought along with record heat. The electric and water bills are high, and now we can only water on Sundays and Thursdays after 8:00 pm or before 10:00 am. My husband and I talked and we are using “grey-water” to water our yard and foundation (yes the foundation), it has eliminated the high water bill discussions. The grass is green here at my house, patches of green, but still green. LOL
