Synovate: Free full-sized samples and paid survey opportunities

by Crystal on September 19, 2011

Synovate is currently accepting new members into their program. If you’re accepted you’ll have the opportunity to try full-sized products as well as take paid surveys.

Lori from Moms By Heart says:

Synovate sign up is FREE and you’ll get great paying survey and product testing opportunities each month. This one is famous for frequently giving free full size products! Most recently I’ve tested diapers (got a full pack for FREE), baby lotion and toothpaste (got three tubes!).

See more free paid survey and product testing companies you can sign up with here.

I’ve been completing all the surveys they send my way, but I never get anything. Am I doing something wrong?

I just want to clarify that these are “opportunities.” In other words, there is no guarantee that you will be the one chosen to test their products. If you are like me, you will take countless surveys and get maybe 2 products per year. But the surveys earn you points which add up to gift cards, so if you have a little extra time it can still be worth it. Just don’t expect to get rich or to have products show up in your mailbox every month.

Thanks Crystal and EVERYONE for the comments. It helps to hear the different experiences :) .

I have been completing surveys for this company for 6-8 months and have had a positive experience. I just finished testing a full size margarine product that is packaged in a new container. I enjoyed the free margarine and earned over 6500 points just completing the pre survey, post survey and sending the empty container back to the company. You won’t get rich by any means, but some extra money every now and then sure is nice!

In my experience, it can take months to be tapped for surveys after signing up. Keep an eye on your inbox; I almost deleted two surveys recently, one of which was worth $10 and another worth $30.

I have never gotten anything send to test but they do give a lot of points for surveys.

I tend to get 1-2 surveys every couple of weeks and so far I have accumulated 4800 points. I haven’t been sent anything yet, but I have only been doing it about 6 weeks or so…

I have been a member for about a year. The surveys are kinda boring and you have to do lots of them to receive credits for cash back. I’ve probably earned about $30 total in about a year. I have yet to receive any free trial offers. I know some people rave about Synovate, but I’ve found it isn’t really worth my time. I’m glad it’s working for others, though!

I did sign up, I just hope my personal information stays private, you hear about the survey horror stories.

I have been competing surveys for Synovate for several months now, and I have never received any free products from them to try out. I even e-mailed them to ask why, and I received a response telling me that it all depends on the info in my profile. The most points I have received for completing a surevey is 1700, for a 20 minute survey. Recently I made it to 20,000 points and redeemed them for a $20 Amazon gift card. I’m happy about that, but I wish I’d be able to receive some products too.

I’ve been with them since April of this year. As of yesterday I had enough points to cash in for $15 total – since I started! So definitely slow-going and have never received any products or anything really in the mail…but it’s still easy money, even it very little lol

I was a member for awhile and cashed out a couple times, but I recently unsubbed from there. It seems like I can get more opportunities elsewhere. It is a good program, though. ;)

Wow – I’ve never gotten products to try and I get 100-300 points for very few surveys they send my way… it’s not something I think about very often since they are so infrequent. It really hasn’t paid off for me aside from one $5 gift card in the whole time I’ve done it…

  • Melissa September 19, 2011 at 10:59 pm

Thanks for the lead! I just signed up and got my first 1500 pts. It seems simpler than the ISOS surveys.

I’ve been signed up with them for several months now and only been able to take surverys but I don’t mind. This is by no means something to replace an income but something just to offer a little bit of extra money (like date night money)!

Are there any other similar sites that give the same cash/product return?
