Love this quote! I had to tell myself this multiple times when deciding to go to college when I wam raising two kids (toddlers) and working two job! I am over half way done and although it has been hard, it has been doable!!!
am*
I realized this while reading “crazy love.” The chapter on giving God your leftovers really got me. I have been slack on devotions becuase I have two small children…. etc. etc. etc. You know the rest. Well, when it came down to it, I was giving God my left over time. Now I get up with my husband before the kids get up to read my bible
This is how I feel when people tell me they don’t have time for cloth diapers! We’ve made it part of our life because saving the money was important enough to us. “I don’t have time” is really just an excuse most of the time….for me too!!
I know I have definitely used it as an excuse for many things in life, too. I’m learning that it’s not that I don’t have time for certain things, it’s that I’m choosing to prioritize my time in a different way. Having this perspective has been very helpful for me.
Love this! Totally true.
