this is a great idea. been doing it forever. I do it with worn out baby bibs, t-shirts, towels. anything thats worn out or ruined. there is always a way to reuse something for something else!!

How creative! This is so timely, I have a huge laundry basket full of mismatched socks. I’ll have to try this, the sewing portion might throw me off a bit.

I use old socks to clean by sticking my hand into one sock and then pulling another sock over it to double up. No sewing necessary.

Just 5 minutes ago my dh was home for lunch and saying he had holes in his work socks and needed new ones. I commented that I could use his old ones for rags!
