this is a great idea. been doing it forever. I do it with worn out baby bibs, t-shirts, towels. anything thats worn out or ruined. there is always a way to reuse something for something else!!
Me too! Except the bibs, don’t have any. =)
I use wool socks to make diaper soakers with the same method
How creative! This is so timely, I have a huge laundry basket full of mismatched socks. I’ll have to try this, the sewing portion might throw me off a bit.
I use old socks to clean by sticking my hand into one sock and then pulling another sock over it to double up. No sewing necessary.
Wow! She’s so much more brilliant than me…I just use the socks as is for cleaning rags! I guess I need to step it up a notch! Great idea! Oh so clever!
Just 5 minutes ago my dh was home for lunch and saying he had holes in his work socks and needed new ones. I commented that I could use his old ones for rags!
