Thanks for the price match idea. I drove 10 miles to ToysRus to score some Huggies yesterday and my store was out. But $3.50 pack at my closeby walmart, that’s a deal!

how far away will walmart price match “a local competitor?” I dont have a babies r us around here so i’m not sure if walmart will honor the sale…

Huggies Jeans jumbo pack diapers are also on sale through today only for $5. In addition, they are Buy One Get One Half Off. So, they are $7.50 for 2 pkgs. If you use 2 $1.50/1 coupons, then they are $4.50 for 2 pkgs = $2.25 each. Also a great deal!!

@Mandy – yes, I was just at BRU and scored my $5 Huggies diapers! The shelves were pretty cleared out, but there was an open box of the size I needed on the floor – I got 2 Huggies jeans jumbos ($5, BOGO, and $1.50 coupons used) for $4.98. Woohoo!

Thanks, I’m heading out today after my kiddos, naps, we’re down to our last pkg of diapers and getting some at these prices is def. worth a trip to stock-up, thanks! :)

I made my hubby go with me yesterday to our local Babies R Us (which is combined with a Toys R Us) and they told me that only Babies R Us NOT with TOys R Us carry the pure and natural huggies. So we drove a little further to the single store and they had quite a few. We bought 10 packages @ $5 each and then got back $25 in gift cards ( we did 5 separate transactions). I used my $1.50 off 1 coupons last week at CVS, but it was still a great deal! $2.50 per package instead of $12 per package!

Walmart being jerks about the situation too, I printed the price from the internet because the paper doesn’t have the price and the lady stood there arguing with me about it being an online price and I said no its in the store too and said she wouldn’t do it. I just left I’m so frustrated after 2 BRU and 1 TRU I’m done trying to find this deal.

  7. Rebekah Williams says

I went to our local TRU/BRU yesterday and was FRUSTRATED! They were out of ALL Huggies, but they had a stash behind the counter being held for an employee who was on the clock. NOT HAPPY!!

I went to two Wal-Mart’s to try to price match, but both only had the Pure & Natural and Jeans in boxes, not individual packs. Big strike out!!

I called Target, but they don’t match “limited time” promotions and you must have the printed ad from the newspaper…ugh!!

  8. Kelli says

My local Toys-R-Us is out of all diapers included in this deal. I called my local walmart and was told that they will not match an e mail deal. The woman said that the price matching was strictly for items printed in a store ad. I suppose it is at the descretion of each individual store.

  9. Mandy says

Does anyone know if you can use the $5.00 gift cards immediately or do you have to wait 24 hours? Thanks!

  10. Mandy says

I’m a little nervous that my local TRU and BRU stores are going to be out of diapers and that my local Wal-mart and Target won’t price match them because the online add doesn’t have a price on the diapers, just says get the $5.00 GC when you buy two. Has anyone actually seen an add from the store or yesterday’s paper that has the price of $5.00 to be able to take to Wal-mart or Target if the other stores are out??? Thanks!

  11. Shawna says

I went to walmart today. had 5 $1.50 huggie coupons. They price matched the $5 price. I didn’t even need to bring in the ad (i did have in just in case printed out in my coupon binder) but Walmart didn’t even look! Happy couponing!

  12. Bonnie says

When you go to Walmart, their policy states that you don’t need an ad to PM. Go that route.

  13. Debbie says

My BRU was all out of diapers! :( But the trip wasn’t a total loss. At least I got my 10 dollars worth of free items at Pier 1 Imports next door to BRU! :)

  14. Becky says

No luck with Huggies, but we did score 2 packs BRU brand training pants and 1 pack Earth’s Best diapers for $5 each.

  15. Natalie Hernandez says

I missed the deal! We use cloth diapers, but I would use disposables for $1 on our trip overseas at the end of the summer. BRU was sold out, and so was TRU. There were 2 other moms circling the aisles along with me! Thanks for the heads-up anyway.
