What a perfect quote. I’m a musician. I understand failure. Or at least a career that doesn’t turn out quite the way you thought it would.
Thank you for that. I went to Walmart with my binder, ready for war. The store was messy, stock was missing or wrong quantity. I felt like I had failed! I know now today will be better, Now on with day two!

ABSOLUTELY! “Failure” is your friend (and booster!) if YOU let it be. Taking any type of “failure” and using it in a positive way allows one to grow and mature versus dwelling on the failures, which is very unhealthy and can consume the life out of you. Mourn over a failure for 5 seconds then get up and move on…take the bull by the horns!

I’ll never forget our oldest son once trying to console me after failing at a small business, “Well, Mom, you never know if you’re going to fail if you don’t try.” (To fail? Very cute.)
