Today’s question is from Shannon:

My son needs to take a dozen filled plastic eggs to school for an Easter Egg hunt. Do your readers have any suggestions on small, meaningful, inexpensive things to put in the eggs? Kids seem to get so much candy around Easter that I am trying to avoid this. -Shannon

I love going to my local Party Store. They have miscellaneous party treats for 10 cents to $10 that you can put in the eggs, fill a pinata, or put a party together with. Items to put in like: rubber balls, bouncing frogs, stamps/tattoos, erasers, bubbles, etc. LITERALLY THOUSANDS of miscellaneous items. Its like the oriental trading company in a store. If you dont have one try a dollar store, family dollar, general dollar, etc. and go for the party treats. You can get 10-20 items for $1-$2 a bag.
