Soooo cute! Thanks! I’ll be making some matching dresses for my girls and their cousins! :-)

the link isn’t working for me…
I have 5 girls who LOVE dresses, and if I could overcome my fear of sewing machines and learn to make them, that would be great!

Nevermind, it is working for me now–third time’s a charm!

You can make something very similar for women, too! If you buy a tank top with large armholes from the men’s section, you can wear a sweater or other top over it for a discreet nursing dress.

Can’t leave a comment over there for some reason, so I’ll say it here – very cute! I’ve had a hard time finding casual dresses to my liking, so I will definitely be doing this.

Oh My! How easy is THAT! I never thought of it What a great idea! Seems to me I will be trying that with some discounted t-shirts real soon!

I made lots of these when my daughter was little. I would get T-Shirts that were damaged, stained or defective towards the bottom and clearance character fabrics to make these dresses for a couple dollars a piece. With Disney and other characters on the skirt. Using short and long sleeve shirts or adding a couple of pockets on the front comes out really cute too.

I was so thrilled when I saw this pattern. I emailed the link to my mom and asked if it was really as easy as it looked. We we were going to be visiting her for spring break so I brought my sewing machine with. We went to Walmart and found some clearance short sleeve tshirts (wow clearance already!) and some cheap material. We made the first dress for $3.75 and the second for $7. I plan on shopping the clearance for cheap shirts and the bargain bins for remnants. My girls love their new dresses. Thank you so much for having these ideas on your site!
