Gabriel’s Good Tidings shows you how to stencil baby onesies. This would make a fun and very inexpensive baby gift idea!

I love this idea!!! I used youtube for a tutorial of the same technique. I used it to make milestone onesies for my son. I also made a custom maternity shirt too.
here are some that I made – speaking of I need to make my son’s 4 month onesie!!

This is such a fun, inexpensive project to do with the kids. We used freezer paper stencils last summer to make Fourth of July shirts with our three boys. If you cut the freezer paper big enough to cover the entire shirt, you can let your little ones do it mostly on their own (they get to fill in the stencil opening, and you know it will turn out great because it isn’t a complete free for all). I cut sponges into strips and let them sponge paint away. My kiddos were 20 months, 3 years, and almost 5, and all of their shirts turned out adorable. We just did a 4 and stars last year, but we are planning to let them pick what they want to stencil this year (car, owl, any “simple” shape). Can’t wait!

I never did get around to using the freezer paper to make stencils BUT I did find some free graphics searching google (earning a few swagbucks ;) lol) and used T-shirt iron on transfers to print them out on. I found the onesies on clearance for $5!

I still have two more to decorate!

Maybe a silly question…but where do you buy freezer paper? Thanks!

Check by the tinfoil and wax paper :)

I was able to find it at WalMart, near the wax paper and foil. It’s made by Reynolds.
