Crystal,
I SINCERELY appreciate you being honest with us and open with your disclosure policy. However, I don’t personally see why you would have to write the whole disclaimer on nearly every post. Your readers (should) trust you, I certainly do. And it is an honor to shop through your site because you help me meet my monthly budget.
The disclaimer makes the posts look a little busy in my opinion, but it is only my humble opinion.
Thank you for all that you do!
I should clarify, that if you NEED to put a disclaimer on each post, could you make it just a short one liner like “See my disclosure policy” with a link?
Oh and also: I have my disclosure policy linked on every post, but many people didn’t see it and didn’t realize that I do use affiliate links on some posts, so I’m trying to find a way to be more clear about things.
I agree w/ Anon. I hate that you feel like you need to post that. I am very happy to give you a few cents here and there for things I buy!! You personally save me hundreds of dollars a year. Love your site. I been a reader since before MSM was around and I am happy you have stayed the same. Very honest and open about your family life including your faith! Thanks for everything you do!
I’m just experimenting with some things right now on disclaimers, so thanks for your input. I appreciate it!
I have been researching disclaimers, too. I have decided for my blog to “title” the link. This way when the reader hovers over it (before they click it), it tells them it is an affiliate link.
I kind of feel like the long disclaimer on every affiliate post is a bit much- more than the reader needs.
But that is where I am at right now.
jen
Yes, I love the hover links! They tell you what you need to know, and look very clean.
I LOVE purchasing through your links because it makes me feel like I’m giving back to your little family, as small as it may be. You have done so much for mine:)
I agree with Dawn. You’re blog is a true blessing to me and my family, and I want you to make money from it so you’ll keep doing it! Thank you for everything you do. I’ll gladly support MSM through affiliate links.
You all are so kind! I’m humbled, touched and blessed by the love you constantly show me.
I agree that the post looks a little busy with such a long disclaimer. Could you post your disclaimer policy with a link to it, as the above person suggested?
Thanks for all that you do!!!
Who would need 25 pregnancy tests? That’s just funny.
Yeah, I ended up with a lot of extras. The cheapest I’ve found here in the stores is $6-7 each or 2/$10, so buying 25 can be cheaper than buying one. I’ve also read about women who take a while to conceive testing very frequently.
I got a snicker out of it too.
We have been trying to conceive for 6 years now….not as easy as some may think….if there are roadblocks…
Cheryl,
My heart goes out to you. I know your pain. Trust me…
For those who are trying to conceive, this is a great deal. Just make sure to get the “cassette” that you put them in to keep them flat. (though they’re considered “cassette tests” and no longer “dip tests” technically….)
My dr suggested this – let’s just say it makes less of a potentially dripping/splashing/tipping the cup over mess.
Good luck everyone…
Thanks for the heads up Arie, greatly appreciated!
Unfortunately, there are women out there who try to conceive for months (or even years) so they end up testing frequently…
Agreed. We’re on month nine with no success, event without testing every month I’ve already spent a lot more than $5.36 on tests; never thought of ordering them from amazon like this.
Christina,
I hope you get some good news soon ! I know what is like to go thru wait myself..
Sue in NJ
Hang in there. It took us 11 months to get pregnant. The average time it takes is 12 months. We ended up using ovulation sticks and got pregnant the first month we used them (I was off on my ovulation time).
I agree with Laura. We had more difficulty getting pregnant with our second child; tried for over 6 months. We bought the ovulation kit, and got pregnant the first month we used it. We must have been off for my cycle too.
maybe someone who works at a crisis pregnancy center… or a midwife… or someone who is doing natural family planning and just wants to “make sure” every month… there are several reasons someone may want/need that many.
I wondered the same thing myself.
Maybe someone who just doesn’t want to believe the results first or second or twenty-fourth test?
That made me laugh out loud!
It took me nine years to get pregnant. I would guess I EASILY used 25 tests in that time frame.
We just found out we were expecting after trying for three years. I would have bought these up in a heartbeat! I think people can just be snarky without meaning to because they have never been there. I guess verbal online gracefulness is just too much to ask for nowadays.
Congratulations, Sara! How exciting!
I agree with you on that Becky!!I can’t even tell you how much I spent on tests!
I was thinking the same thing!!
I do! We have been trying for almost two years and with an irregular cycle I’m never sure when it is actually time to test. Besides, I have 3 friends who are also TTC right now, if we split this it will be even cheaper!
I do!!!! My periods are wonky, and I get terrified every month when my period doesn’t start when it is supposed to. The first time I was on BC my periods were like clockwork, but after having my son and going through some AD treatments, they tend to come later and later now. I usually test myself every month – which if you’re buying off the drugstore shelf for 1st response or something simililar, is quite pricy. LOL
I completely agree with those who are jumping to the defense of those of us, who have had a tough time trying to conceive.
I’m guessing that your local crisis pregnancy center would LOVE your donations, if 25 pregnancy tests will just go to waste in your house.
Have you tried sympto-thermal methods of tracking your cycle (a la “Taking Charge of Your Fertility”)? My periods are fairly irregular too, but by tracking those symptoms, I can know when I ovulate and when to expect my period. Just a thought.
No, but I’ve been meaning to research something of that nature. I also keep meaning to research natural family planning methods. All of the medications (BC, antidepressants, sleep aids, benzos, etc.) I have been on have screwed up my body’s natural processes, and after all of this time of getting sick from them and learning more about natural cures I’m trying to get off everything one step at a time with my doctor’s help. Thanks for the suggestion! I’m adding it to my research list.
Also, to the other replier, I don’t know if you were singling out my reply but I hope you didn’t think I was slighting those that have fertility issues. I can empathize with how heart breaking that must be to all of you, and I’m not trying to flaunt fertility in your faces or something. I was just offering an answer to the question from my perspective … being a Fertile Myrtle with a transient Aunt Flo can be scary. I for one do not want to be the second coming of Michelle Duggar. It’s just one of those things… some of us are thinner, prettier, more fertile, more intelligent, patient, etc. than others. There’s always something that someone else has that we want and can’t help but bristle at the thought of. I for one wish I was as disciplined as Crystal! She’s accomplished so much with what she has, and it seems like I squander everything away I am given. Sometimes, when she writes about paying for her house 100% down or whatever, it stings a little because I feel like that’s something totally out of my grasps because I don’t have the same things (discipline, sound financial upbringing, financial resources, etc.) that she has. I have to remember that we’re all different and it’s not something to get mad at her for.
I can almost guarantee you that no one meant any disrespect to those having difficulties conceiving – we may not know first hand, but it really does break my heart to hear about it. Making light of the situation is most likely either out of 1) ignorance (I didn’t really think about it until it was mentioned, I admit) or 2) sense of humor to deal with their dark situation (I know that’s how I deal with my issues).
Baby dust to everyone out there TTC! May you need only one, instead of 25 of these tests!
i am reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility right now! A great book for anyone trying to conceive or trying not to, it teaches you to find when you ovulate using your temperature and your body.
we are looking to save money on contraceptives by using the sympto-thermal method.
Emily, women who are trying to conceive and those of us who are trying not to conceive (and don’t want to use birth control) can go through 25 in a year easily. If my cycle is off, I’d rather not spend $14 to calm my fears; and then there is the “I might have tested too soon” issue. There are a lot of us who test frequently. =D
Not that funny when you’re sitting holding a $5 piece of plastic you just peed on every month for 3 years trying to will it to turn positive. That’s a lot of money, a lot of tears and a lot of pee.
I always bought my tests in bulk when I could. Not only was it saving a lot of money, but it also saves the sadness when you have to go buy yet another box of tests because that “yet another” isn’t quite as frequent.
(For the record, he’s 13 months old and perfect now.
)
I have ordered 25. Anyone who as a potential problem and needs to take multiple tests a month needs to buy in bulk. Personally, I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and need to avoid a second by keeping a close eye on pregnancies.
These tests are so easy to use, but they are not as fancy as a $8 test. You can expect them to be just as accurate though!
Glad that you have gotten every pregnancy as requested from the Lord but there are some of us that haven’t been able to. We’re going on 7 years now so 25 tests is nothing.
Amen Sarah
I do! We are going on 7 years of TTC and I’ve spent lots of money on tests.
I’m knew both times after missing my clockwork period for 2 days what was going on – and I STILL ended up taking 5 tests apiece just to make sure! I spent a ton on so many brands :[ wish they had this deal 5 years ago!
I have a ton of newly-married friends, so I’m contemplating buying these and splitting them- saves a ton of $$!
Agree with everyone who says that some of us aren’t blessed with such abundant fertility and need those 25 tests. Then, when we finally get that positive, yeah, we take as many as we want… just to see that glorious test we’ve been praying for so long.
Hang in there, ladies! It took us 3 years to conceive our daughter! Praying for all of you!
I LOVE THESE TESTS!! I got a clear and strong result when my period was a half a day late. I wasn’t “trying” yet, so I can’t vouch for how early they would detect a pregnancy.
The 25 tests shocked me too…It would make a funny baby shower favor…or a good gag gift for a bridal shower!
OMG I was thinking the same thing…maybe put them on the Christmas tree and date them when you found out you were pregnant.
Emily – Unfortunately for some women, it can take months for them to conceive so this would definitely save them money…
I agree with the other posters about the disclaimer policy. Honestly, I have guessed for a long time that you make a kickback. Why wouldn’t you, when you’re doing the work? Most of us like to get paid when we’re at our jobs.
And, for anyone who has questions, your policy is pretty easy to find on your blog.
I will say, though, that it’s very generous of you to let fellow bloggers know when there’s an easy way to to give you your kickback, then post our own link on our blogs.
I always buy my pregnancy tests at the Dollar Store/Dollar Tree. They have never been incorrect.
Me too!
But this totally beats the dollar store price! 25 for $5 bucks!
So do I and since I am nursing and have no idea when I might start ovulating again, I have used several of them recently. So, I think I might just buy the 25 for $5!
I have clicked on your “full disclosure” link for two different posts and both times it has lead me to a page that says the page wasn’t found. Just letting you know.
Argh! Thank you for letting me know that!
I agree with the ladies above. Plus the things you post that you make percentages off of our good deals so they are still helping the reader. That is actually why I started following your blog as opposed to others. I was following a blog for a long time but after a while all the posts were just links to things that weren’t good deals but the blogger made money off of. I think you do a great job of posting only things that are a good deal and beneficial to your reader:>)
I tried for over a year to get pregnant. This would have saved me a lot of money a few years ago!!
Emily.. I WOULD! With my first son it took us over 3 years to get pregnant. LOTS of testing and wondering each month. Now that we are trying again it looks like we will have the same issues. I’ve already gone through 4 tests. I bought the cheapest ones I could find at Winco, then I found some at the dollar store for a dollar each.. but heck! 25 for $5.34 YAY! You are my life saver! Thank you for posting this deal. I never even knew about these types of tests.
Thanks!
As to why anyone would want 25 pregnancy tests, it takes me about 20 months postpartum to get my period back (well, 20 months the first time around, 19 months and counting this time). In the meantime, I often wonder if maybe I could be pregnant again. It’s nice to be able to test every month or so for peace of mind (and so that I would know about a possible pregnancy early on and get prenatal care). I imagine that quite a few women with irregular cycles for whatever reason might be in the same boat.
My cycle varies a lot (usually between 28-40 days). It is nice to have cheap pregnancy tests just to make sure.
Ladies, please remember to be sensitive in your comments. For women who have not yet been blessed with a baby and are trying desperately to conceive, the number of tests they go through is probably much, much higher than what one might typically think of as necessary.
Well said Rebekah.
Thank you, Rebekah! My husband and I have been married for almost five years, and have not been successful yet. And I know many other ladies have gone longer than we have.
{Hugs to you, Meagan! I am so sorry and will pray for you!
}
We’ve been married 8 years next month…and 7 years of infertility.
It truly is a whole different world when infertility reaches over 5 years. Even those with 1-3 years infertility can’t even relate.
Meagan- My husband and I are in the same situation and I just wanted to encourage you. The only thing that gets me from one day of waiting and hoping till the next is prayer and knowing God has a beautiful plan for us all! Much love to you!
Rebekah- Thank you for your comment! I wanted to say the same thing and remind all of us women to be understanding and compassionate towards one another. But in my initial reading of the comments I didn’t think I could say it with the kindness that you did. =)
Rebekah, could not have said it better!!!
For those of you who have been pregnant I am sure you too have spent much more on test so really it is not far fetched if you are out to save money anyway. I have 3 children and have spent much more on tests that the $5.?? on here. I am really thinking about getting this deal…I am sure planned or not I will take another pregnancy test in my life!!!
I agree. It took my sister 22 years to have her son. And even though I have 5 children myself I went through a period of infertility after 2 children and it is heartbreaking.
Lana,
Your post touched my heart. We conceived our two children very easily, but it has now been three years and one heartbreaking second trimester loss and we are still trying. You never really know how terrible infertility is until it happens to you. I hope one day, Lord willing, we will be able to say we have 3,4, or even 5 children of our own.
I pray you will have the same happy ending we did. We have 5 years between our 2nd and 3rd child and then we had 3 in 3 years. Those three are all in college at the same time right now. People often said to us ‘what were you thinking having three so close together?’ We just wanted more children and once I got pregnant again we knew we did not want to prevent having more! Often we are asked if we are a blended family because of the gap. I never had to endure the pain of miscarriage and I am so sorry for your loss, my sister lost one too and she still grieves for that child. If I could go back to that time period now I would have used some natural progesterone cream and I believe I would have been okay. It is really worth looking into!
Well said – I can’t believe the insensitivity of some people.
Thanks, Rebekah…we’re going on 7 years next month of infertility.
Thank You Rebekah! My husband and I have been trying for two years now with no success!!
Thank you Rebekah. We’re on year 6 now. Lot’s of testing…gonna take this deal and run!!
I hope it is ok that I add a comment here….I’ve hesitated for the past 2 days because I do not want to sound insensitive or uncaring in amy way. We have lost a baby and I do have a bleeding issue….without transfusions and medical intervention, I would not be here today! I only add this comment to hopefully encourage some of you. Right now I am sitting next to our 5 month old twins, whom we adopted in January. Our love for them is no different than our love for our biological children. If it had not been for my pregnancy issues, we would have not gone down the road of a domestic infant adoption. God brought beauty out of ashes, and I can now say, with my babies in my arms, that His plan was, and is beautiful. We are shocked that there really is a need for families to adopt, even adopt infants in our country, and we are so thankful that the Lord brought our children into our lives.
Again, I hope my comments on adoption are not taken as insensitive…..only to hopefully encourage those who are longing for a child!
I don’t think it’s funny. I’m not at all offended if you do, but not everyone gets pregnant the first try. I was infertile for 2 years with extremely irregular and sporadic cycles, I would go months without a period. So I had to check a lot and spent a LOT of money on tests. I am sincerely glad so many have it easier with a regular cycle and ability to conceive, it just isn’t that way for all of us. (BTW, I am currently pregnant with baby #2, it seems the issue I had resolved itself after having my first baby!)
For those who are trying to conceive, you can get cheap ovulation predictor tests like this from Amazon too.
Wish I had known that back when I was TTC! I spent a fortune on ovulation predictor tests (not that they EVER worked for me, but my doctor made me use them).
Thanks so much for sharing this! I just placed my order for the 25 pregnancy tests AND 50 ovulation tests and my grand total was just $14.97!
Thank you, Rebekah!
Thanks so much for this post! My husband and I have been TTC for the past year after a miscarriage, and even with coupons the one at the stores are SPENDY!!! Thanks again!
Thanks you so much for this info. Just like the other posters, we’ve been trying for 5 years and never been pregnant. I may have used up a 100 of pregnancy tests. When you are TTC and coping with infertility, you get so anxious that you want to test almost every day during the 2-week wait.
Crystal, I hope you can also pray for me and my husband. Tomorrow is our 5th Anniversary. I hope this year will get pregnant!
I will pray for you, too. I am so sorry!
Are you a part of a good support group of people who can encourage you through this?
I hope you get pregnant soon.We were married 5 years,9 months and one day when our daughter cam along!
Happy Anniversary!
Thanks you so much. I am still not losing hope. I know one day He will give one to us. My best friend has the same problem although hers is more complicated so we support each other thru our journey.
Thank you again ladies and I will let you know when the time has come.
Praying for you, Raqs…we’ll be married 8 years next month with 7 years of infertility.
I have a 20 month old and found out last month that I was pregnant again and then began spotting, so I ended up taking three more tests before I could believe I was losing the baby. We are gonna start trying again next month and I’m sure that I’ll be using even more tests. I think it is a little insensitive to giggle about someone needing that many tests and I hope and pray that those who are/did giggle never have to go through TTC or the loss of a baby.
I am so sorry, Julie.
Julie, my heart goes out to you!
I had a miscarriage five years ago a few months after my husband and I were married- I lost the baby right before my 12 week check up. It was devastating but we went on to have two beautiful children, an almost four year old and a 22 month old. I got pregnant again in September and lost the baby at the end of October. It was such an awful experience and I was so depressed though I had to push on to try and be a good mom to my kids even though I felt dead inside. After a few months I started to feel more like myself so we decided to start trying for another baby. I am now six weeks pregnant and though I am so excited in the back of my mind I still worry about something bad happening.
I suppose it is hard for people who have never had issues with trying to get pregnant or pregnancy loss to see how insensitive it is to make jokes about someone needed 25 pregnancy tests. Having babies is something that a woman is supposed to be able to do and when you can’t do it you feel like a failure and that something is wrong with you. Others pointing it out, whether intentional or not, just makes you feel worse.
I wish you luck in having another child and will keep you in my thoughts!
Hang in there Julie. I TTC for 3 year years. I got pregnant and lost my first baby in the first trimester. It was the darkest time in my life. Then, with a little help from science conceived my triplets a year later. I wish this deal was around then, I went thru a ton a pregnancy tests!
Glad to see the disclosure! I’m well aware of the policy and when there’s gains to be sought, but it feels less deceptive/sneaky if it’s right there!! I can appreciate an upfront approach and am more willing to use the link if it’s there than if it’s not mentioned. I’m a straight-shooter, so I’ll say that if I notice a referral/affliate link and it’s not mentioned….I’ll find away around it. These kinds of deals are available to everyone, regardles off the affliate links. It’s just the way I feel….I don’t mind helping someone out, but I don’t want someone who is intentionally being deceptive profitting off of me. Besides, if you keep up in the blogging world, there are laws passed about this stuff and from what I hear they are cracking down on it…..even considering a hotline to report it. So, I think it’s a good practice to do and just get into and I commend you for taking the step to do it now!!
Very well said. I totally agree and appreciate Crystal being upfront about the kickback. It may make it “busy” according to some, but I think it helps people realize this is an income generating business, not just a family blog.
I think it’s nice to be upfront and honest as well! It seems that some other bloggers are posting a ton of amazon links that really might not be that good of a deal. It seems they just want the credit and someone to click through and buy something they don’t really need. Maybe now the readers here will realize that Amazon does give this kind of credit to a ton of bloggers and to think twice before they buy something just because it is recommended or a “HOT” deal.
I have no complaints about how you’re presenting your disclosure policy. =) Any normal reader can skip that very bottom part if they want, and the new readers get to read it for its intended purpose. I know a lot of bloggers get really nasty comments from readers, especially about affiliate links, making money from them, etc. etc. I would do the same thing as Crystal to cut down on the “hater mail”. You’re always going to get it, by why not reduce your inbox a little bit?
I never noticed that about Amazon affiliate links either until Crystal starting posting her disclaimers. I always wondered about some of the links other bloggers would post… they just didn’t seem that great a deal, but now I understand. Like others have stated, I like the fact that you are posting discliamers – I never realized how many of these deals are affiliate links. While I feel you are an honest blogger, it does help factor into my decision now whether or not it’s a deal I should go for … is it really a good deal, or is the blogger looking to make a buck? Maybe just condense the disclaimer if others feel it’s too busy? One blogger I have been visiting recently puts a little asterisk in a smaller print “*Please support this site by using the provided links when ordering from your favorite places or printing your coupons. Thank you!” It takes up a line at the very bottom of the post, keeps you informed but doesn’t add a lot of bulk.
I doubt very much that most bloggers are trying to be sneaky about you clicking through links on their blogs. They already have disclaimers on their site, you might just have to scroll down a bit to find the link to it. How do you think bloggers make their money? Or are they just supposed to work for free? Personally, if the blogger is going to do all of the leg work, I don’t begrudge them at all making a profit from my click through. I am an adult, I can decide whether the post is truly a good deal to me or not. It doesn’t cost you a bit of money to click through someone’s link, and not doing so just out of spite seems silly.
I completely agree with all of you who are jumping to the defense of those of us who have had a hard time conceiving and/or lost babies.
For those of you, that that is not an issue, I am guessing your local crisis pregnancy center would love to have them.
We have never had problems TTC. However, we have decided to leave the conception (and number) of our children up to God. I am 33 right now, and it is perfectly logical to expect we will have several more children. I would buy 25 tests in a heartbeat for that price!
FYI, I bought 50 0f these for about $5 on Amazon a few months back when we decided to start TTC. They took the spending-money-guilt-factor out of testing, which was needed (enough stress as it is). They’ve been great. And they text down to 25 mlU, so they are very sensitive.
I got a faint positive about 4 days before my period just last week and the line is steadily getting darker (though still not as dark as the control line). I’d buy these again.
And to the people who don’t understand why you’d need so many: You are blessed. Don’t judge or make fun of others who struggle to conceive.
I hope the line continues to get darker! It sounds like congratulations are in order — and thanks for the helpful review of these, too!
Thank you I bought some since we are TTC and even buying at the dollar tree adds up quick!
I am pregnant with my 4th right now, but have ordered these strips numerous times through the Internet through a different website. They were pretty cheap but never this inexpensive. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and was told that it would be very hard to conceive. I guess I proved them wrong huh? I often don’t get a positive test result until I am at least 8 weeks pregnant for some reason. I have even had ultrasounds and been pregnant and they didn’t see it. Before I found these tests online I was spending tons of money each week. Thank you for posting this. Some women may think it is silly to order 25 at a time and may never use that many, but I have probably used over 100 in the past 6 years, so it isn’t silly to me.
I bought this about six months ago – the whole pack is cheaper than I can buy a single test locally. But then, it was kind of fun to ‘waste’ them with frequent testing, too.
Baby’s now on the way.
Hehehe.
I took like five tests when I was pregnant even though I knew I was. It was just so exciting, if not wasteful lol.
There is a website called “anotherblessing.com” that sells the same kind of tests for $.85 each. It’s not as good of a deal as Amazon, but you can order as few a two, and the shipping is free. This is also their everyday price so it’s a option once the Amazon deal is over.
My order got cancelled due to lack of supply, so it looks like this one’s over… Although, On the side bar there’s a link to another Amazon store that’s selling the same product, same quantity for the same price (actually 2 cents less… lol) and free shipping! I ordered from there (Prime Medical Store), hopefully it will come!!
Thanks for the update! I’ll change the link in the post to the other store. Thank you for the heads up.
One thing to note…
These tests do have an expiration date. I believe that they are only good for about a year and a half to two years.
If anyone misses this deal, you can check into purchasing through Ebay. You can get larger lots for a very good price there.
Thanks for this info – that’s specifically what I was scouring the comments to find! I’d rather be patient when we start trying again and use 2 or 3 dollar store tests than end up with too many cheap tests and have them expire.
You can order as few as two at $.85 ea with free shipping from anotherblessing.com
Thanks for that tip – I’ll probably do that when we start trying again. Our 2nd is only 6 months right now, so we’ll probably wait until October to try again. While it could very well take a year for us, I don’t think I’d use 25 in that time.
I purchased these yesterday, and with my Prime shipping they came in today with an expiration date of 10/12.
I don’t think anyone on here was purposely trying to be insensitive to anyone TTC. I have to admit I laughed when I thought about 25 pregnancy tests and purposely read the posts thinking that people might be leaving funny comments about having 25 kids. My husband and I have 4 and hope to have more so we would def use 25 pregnancy tests over the next many years, but the thought of 25 positive tests is a little funny. I have also had a miscarriage so I do understand the pain that those of you are going through, I pray that the Lord will Bless all of you use and that your $5 investment will produce many positive results.
I didn’t think she was being insensitive either. I thought to myself, Wow, that’s a lot of test’s FOR MYSELF.
My girlfriend recently confided in me that she gets mad at me when she see’s me on facebook writing about the cute things my kids say/do. And that she hates how I get pregnant so easily. Why is it my fault that she can’t get pregnant? I feel so badly for her, I do but geez. She’s so sensitive. We don’t say these things to hurt you who are trying to conceive. We’re allowed to be happy too.
As an extremely fertile woman (3 babies in 3 years), I take tests at least once a month….usually when I’m going out with my husband or a friend and want to make sure I can order a drink. LOL! This is a GREAT deal for me! I usually order mine from early-pregnancy-tests.com but this is half the price….THANKS!
On a funny note: I clicked on the Facebook Share option for this link, and sent it to my husband in a Facebook message, asking if I should go ahead and purchase them.
But–Oops! I wasn’t paying close enough attention, and instead posted it to my Facebook wall. Now all my friends are going to think we’re trying to get pregnant! (We currently have a 3 month old and a 20 month old.)
Thankfully I noticed it shortly after I posted it!
Now that’s funny!
Hahahaha!!
That’s hilarious!
Even if you don’t end up needing all 25 its a great deal in comparison to a drugstore test. This is my first cycle ttc and I plan to buy these so I can test as often as I want without the guilt of pricey tests. Also if there are tests left over you could donate them. Good luck to all of you ttc! God has a plan for all of us!!
I just wanted to say that you do not have to have an Amazon Mom account to get free shipping. I do not have one, but I was able to get the free shipping.
I know this is the wrong post does anyone know if the hannaford coupons the meat and hannaford product our gone? When I click on the link it’s blank. And I wasn’t sure if its because I have mac. Thank you
Just on the flip side of this they also sell ovulation strips in this same bulk price style on Amazon as well as Ebay. I used both to conceive all 3 of my children. Baby dust to all you TTC.
I have a question. If we click through the link but don’t buy the tests and do buy something else do you get credit somehow? Just curious. And I’m happy to support you in this small way!
Hi Crystal,
Thank you so very much for posting this deal. For anyone, who has spent many months and years trying to conceive, this is a great buy. It is so easy to go through SEVERAL tests each month, especially when you are so hopeful each time. We have an amazing 2 year old, but have been TTC for almost a year. I was pregnant for about a week in nov. but then had a miscarriage. This month, I am feeling really hopeful, so these come at the perfect time. Thanks for all you do, and I don’t mind “helping” your family one teeny tiny bit, when I think of all you have done for mine.
I laughed when I first read this about 25 tests.Experienced infertility and a miscarriage.I guess if these kind of tests were around 20 plus years ago I would have bought them .I just wasted money numerous times when I was 2 weeks late, took the test that was negative and then sometimes got my period or not. I would wait another week if no period and test again.
Thank you!
My first two were conceived right away, but now I have not even become pregnant once in three years. I like to test early so this will be a great savings.
I purchased 75, but if I do become pregnant I can always share them with friends or sell a few online. Wonderful deal!
For those of you that think this is funny, please take time tonight to thank God that you have gotten your pregnancies when you want them. You have been a huge discouragement to me.
I am on my 103rd cycle of trying to conceive. I don’t test every single cycle but in 7 years, 25 tests is NOTHING especially with those cycles where I have been late and tested more than once.
I’m sorry you have felt discouraged tonight Sarah! I truly believe these people do not mean harm by their careless comments, but sometimes people become so blessed they take for granted the gifts they are given. Sometimes I wish these blog comments had a ‘flag for insensitivity’ option. You’ll be in my prayers, and I hope that THIS batch of pregnancy tests will bring you the news you are looking for.
Amanda is right. When I passed this discovery to Crystal, those who spend years TTC didn’t come to mind because I’ve just never been there. Please do not be discouraged by this. We all have different ways in which we suffer severe heartache and pain. I am just glad that such a low price on pregnancy tests can be a blessing to women in many different situations. And I will pray the Lord will bless you with a child at just the right time, with extra measures of patience and peace until then. <3
Thank you. I’m not discouraged by the posting of the great deal…just those that would blatantly think it’s ridiculous to need 25 tests…that’s hurtful. Even if you yourself don’t need 25 tests, you can split them with a friend or as others mentioned, donate them. I love that when a friend is curious if she’s pregnant because she’s late, I can send her home with a couple tests and she doesn’t have to spend $10 on an inpromptu purchase at the store.
Thanks so much! Just ordered. My husband and I are trying for baby number two and last month alone I used 4 pregnancy tests because I was so nervous/excited and kept hoping the NEXT one would read ‘positive’. It never did, so my husband insisted that we make this purchase instead of busting our budget by purchasing the $11 grocery store brand for me to blow through every time I eat some bad mexican! haha
Hahaha! I had to read your comment to my husband! (He laughed and jokingly said, “You women are crazy… every one of you!” … at least now he knows it’s not just me!!)
I wish these were available when I was pregant. How inexpensive!
Whoops-pregnant. :0)
FYI—found a deal on a box of tests like this at my CVS recently-got a box for $3.50-might be worth checking–I had never seen them before-could have saved a lot of money while we’ve been TTC!
Isn’t anyone else wondering/asking themselves why Crystal is searching out pregnancy tests on Amazon? Anything you want to disclose? LOL
Sarah sent the deal in. I’m just the messenger.
Hahaha!
As I told Crystal, I just wanted to share my jubilation when I discovered these, since I am a pee-on-a-stick addict from the time my baby is 6 mos. old until I find out I am pregnant again!
Hmmm… so tempted to buy these since my husband is coming off a year deployment in about a month and we are hoping for baby 3.
I just want to add that I so appreciate your blog. I think you are very honest, and it made me sad to see those disclaimers. I guess I feel this is partly your business as running a blog is soooo involved and time consuming. You and all bloggers I think deserve a little compensation. But I can also see that being up front and honest about what others may not know is good too.
I want to thank you for all the deals you have brought to my family and for encouraging me to blog as well. May God continue to bless you and this blog.
I thought the 99Cent store was the best price. Wow, this is a fabulous deal! I have a crazy cycle and tend to take more tests than the average person but this is also a great deal to split with friends. Thanks for posting!
And the great thing is… it’s a “typical” price for pregnancy test strips if you buy them in big lots like this. There are multiple companies that sell them! It’s amazing that they can even sell pee-stick ones in the store for $10 a pop.
For those of you who don’t want that many, check the dollar stores- I heard a friend say Dollar Tree has them for $1.
