Hurry, it will likely close up quickly. (Thanks, Karen!)

Pinecone Research is one of my favorite survey companies. They pay $3 for every survey completed and they are very prompt in sending payment.

Said that they were not looking for people with my demographics at this time. Bummer.

Jennifer February 23, 2011 at 2:30 pm

same :(

Courtney February 23, 2011 at 3:14 pm

Ditto. “Unfortunately, there are no available openings for members with a household make-up that aligns with yours at this time.”

Sherri February 23, 2011 at 2:17 pm

I was not the right demographic either.

Dawn February 23, 2011 at 2:32 pm

Me either!

Stacey February 23, 2011 at 2:33 pm

Unfortunately, neither myself, my daughter, nor my neighbor were the right demographic either….I am wondering what demo they ARE looking for! LOL! Thanks for passing the info along though! It never hurts to try! :-)

Crystal February 23, 2011 at 2:37 pm

:( Yes, I’m wondering what demographic they are looking for as it seems like they are not accepting a lot of people. I’m sorry for those who weren’t able to get in.

Stacey February 23, 2011 at 8:44 pm

There is absolutely no need to apologize personally! I can’t even begin to explain how much you have done for myself, my family, and even charities…in just barely over a month since I started “couponing” and such! Just last week, when I received a text from your Twitter about the Hills Science Diet, and the coupons available through the link you posted….not only was I able to purchase enough food for our dog “(and some goodies for the kitties that were also on sale there), but we stocked up for a huge donation to our local Pet Food Bank operated by No Kill Louisville! We bought over $220 worth of the best pet food you can buy, and only spent $50!! I also was able to give a man I met a the store 2-$8 off coupons who was purchasing Science Diet for 2 dogs he was fostering that were recovering from Parvo!! It was an AMAZING feeling! So, again, no need to apologize at all! Thank you for all you do for all of us! :-) Sorry this post was a little long winded, but this is one you can definitely share with people when they are curious why you do what you do! LOL!

Jill February 23, 2011 at 2:36 pm

Me either :(

The MySurvey links are dead. :)

Crystal February 23, 2011 at 2:46 pm

Thanks for catching that. You should be able to sign up at MySurvey.com.

Bethany February 23, 2011 at 2:54 pm

I’ll head that way. :)

Sarah G. February 23, 2011 at 2:47 pm

They only take one person per household, so I can’t sign up since my mom is already a member. She gets $3 checks in the mail all the time – seems like a good company.
My favorite is Ipsos iSay. I really enjoy taking the surveys – you usually get at least 5 points even if you don’t match for a survey, and they send out lots of 45 and 90 point ones. It adds up quickly. So far I’ve redeemed my points for $30 cash and $100 cash!

Crystal February 23, 2011 at 2:50 pm

Thanks for the positive review on Ipsos, Sarah. Thank was helpful!

And nice to see your smiling face here. :)

samantha February 23, 2011 at 2:52 pm

Seems like i’m the right demographic. Yay me!

Nicole February 23, 2011 at 2:58 pm

I wasnt in the correct demographic either…BOO! :( LOL hopefully they will contact me later.

Shelia February 23, 2011 at 3:45 pm

Wrong demographic as well…

Clare February 23, 2011 at 3:54 pm

Thanks for the tip on MySurvey. Maybe someday Pinecone will accept me, but today wasn’t the day. However, I was happy to get into the other one!

Michele February 23, 2011 at 4:20 pm

I love pinecone research. It’s fun to try new things and give my opinion of them…..and get paid for it :)

Katie H. February 23, 2011 at 4:23 pm

I was involved with Pinecone Research for a while, and I loved it. They paid promptly and it was really interesting to be involved in their surveys and to try a couple new products.

After several months of membership, however, I stopped receiving invites to surveys, and when I tried to log in to my account, it wouldn’t let me. I e-mailed the contact I had and she said that every once in a while, they “phase people out,” and I had been phased out. I was pretty bummed, not to mention disappointed that they didn’t even notify me of this.

Crystal February 24, 2011 at 12:20 am

they did that to me as well……..I haven’t received an invite in months.

JoannaTopazT February 23, 2011 at 4:25 pm

I got in a while ago, and I would encourage others to try again in the future. In my experience, Pinecone has been the best survey company — they pay well, and they’ve only sent surveys that I actually qualify for, meaning it’s a much better use of my time than taking prescreeners and then not qualifying.

sara February 23, 2011 at 4:32 pm

Yeah, I’ve signed up at least 10 times and can never make it in. We are DINKS and I have a post-grad degree. They just don’t want me. Thanks for posting though- I’ll keep trying! Hope the rest of you get called in:)

Emily February 23, 2011 at 7:33 pm

Ditto here, and no go.

rosa February 23, 2011 at 4:44 pm

well, I got in. I have a post grad degree too, but i am also spanish, and talk both languajes, that could have made the difference. Thank you for letting me know

Crystal February 23, 2011 at 4:46 pm

Glad to know at least *somebody* got accepted!

Carmen February 23, 2011 at 5:06 pm

I am in too! Also bilingual :)

Linda February 23, 2011 at 5:20 pm

What are they looking for? Obviously I don’t have it.

lise February 23, 2011 at 5:52 pm

I got this message: Unfortunately, there are no available openings for members with a household make-up that aligns with yours at this time.

ellen February 23, 2011 at 8:16 pm

same here!

Tracy February 23, 2011 at 8:24 pm

I’ve been a member of Pinecone for a while. I agree that it’s a great company and it’s never a time waster because the surveys they send you are ones that you already qualify for. I’m part of their new program where they load your survey payments on a pre-paid credit card. I love that!!

I hope that eventually everyone on here can get in!

Jennifer February 23, 2011 at 9:48 pm

How do you get into this? Every time you post it, I always go and apply right away, and never hear anything back.

Flor February 24, 2011 at 12:04 am

I qualify too! I think they might be looking for bilingual, from the comments above.

Holly February 24, 2011 at 12:53 am

I have been with Pinecone for over two years and I love their company. The surveys are always interesting and easy to navigate. And, the $3 per survey adds up into a nice little bit in my paypal account. :)

Sofe February 24, 2011 at 11:35 am

I got accepted! I am not bilingual. I am 22 years old, graduate from college, I live alone and provide for only myself, with one full time job.
