Click on the “Redeem a Gift Card or Promotion Code” on Amazon.com and enter code VDAYMP3S to get a free $2 MP3 added to your Amazon.com account.

I finally have learned how to download MP3s and upload them to iTunes (I know, I know, I’m quite behind the times!), so I was excited to be able to use this to get two songs for free!

This coupon code expires February 14, 2011.

This link goes to a page for “There Is a Way”. How do I get to where I can enter the code?

Jody February 7, 2011 at 9:24 am

On that page, look for the green box in the upper right hand corner, where it says, “Redeem a gift card or promotion code & view balance”. Click on that and then enter the code.

Jody February 7, 2011 at 9:23 am

I have been trying to figure out how to do that myself! Would you mind telling me how to do it (transfer MP3′s to iTunes)? Thanks!

Cathy Davenport February 7, 2011 at 10:51 am

I second that. Could you tell us how to get those MP3s to itunes? Pretty please.

Gwen February 8, 2011 at 11:28 pm

It’s actually very easy if you let iTunes control your music library. It will find all the music on your hard drive and put them into your iTunes library.

Or, you can simply drag the mp3 into your iTunes library

Or, put the mp3 file into (usually this is the path) My documents\My Music\iTunes and iTunes will usually find them.

As for those who lost the 4500 files, unless you sent them all to the trash, they are here. I suspect you probably just created your own library. He’ll need to pull up his own iTunes library.

Thank you so much!!

Caron February 7, 2011 at 9:24 am

never mind, I got it to work! :)

Tammy February 7, 2011 at 9:25 am

Wow – Thank you!!! :)

mary c February 7, 2011 at 9:34 am

Thanks so much for all the posts and deals. :)

Andrea Q February 7, 2011 at 9:55 am

Thank you so much! I have lost track of how many free MP3s I’ve received from Amazon through deals like this.

Cheryl February 7, 2011 at 9:57 am

I just discovered how to do the itunes thing also. BUT in the process of learning I cleared out the 4,500 songs my husband had on there already. :( he wasn’t very happy with me!

Laurie February 7, 2011 at 10:02 am

I received a message saying there is something wrong with the code I entered, not sure what I did wrong.

Catherine February 7, 2011 at 10:24 am

I got that error message at first also. There’s an “S” on the end of the code which Crystal didn’t put in bold, so I missed it–the whole code is “VDAYMP3S.”

Laurie February 7, 2011 at 10:50 am

Thank you…I needed that “s”.

Carrie February 7, 2011 at 10:31 am

Laurie,

Did your code have a “S” at the end? It should look like this: VDAYMP3S – I almost missed that the “S” was a part of the code. Anyway, maybe that will help. It just worked for me.

Laurie February 7, 2011 at 10:51 am

Thank you, I did need to add an “s.”

Marie February 7, 2011 at 10:15 am

It worked for me just now…you might want to try again. :) Thanks!!

Keela February 7, 2011 at 10:15 am

I’m getting an error also! Is this still available?

Jonna D February 7, 2011 at 10:19 am

Just did it and it went through fine…..Thanks for sharing!

Tina February 7, 2011 at 10:21 am

I received the same message Laurie did. “There’s something wrong with the claim code you entered”
Anyone know what I may have done wrong? I clicked in the little green box in upper right hand corner & tried going to my account as well.

Carrie February 7, 2011 at 10:29 am

Make sure that when you copy the code you grab the “S” at the end of “VDAYMP3S” – I almost missed that it was part of the code, but I noticed it was capitalized and thought I should try it that way first. Hope that helps!

Tina February 7, 2011 at 12:18 pm

I missed the “s” Thank you so much!!!

Stacey February 7, 2011 at 10:28 am

Worked for me. Thanks!

JanellN February 7, 2011 at 10:29 am

The code should be: VDAYMP3S….don’t forget the “s” and it should work. For those of you having troubles

Amity February 7, 2011 at 10:30 am

Way to easy,..thank you for the post

Jana @ The Summer House February 7, 2011 at 10:44 am

Didn’t work for me :(

Carrie February 7, 2011 at 6:33 pm

Jana,

Make sure you have a “S” on the end of your code. It was easy to miss – I almost did. Anyway, the code you should try is: VDAYMP3S Hope that helps!

Ginger February 7, 2011 at 10:49 am

Just worked for me. To reiterate, you can get your mp3s from Amazon and have it set up to transfer to your iTunes. I did not know this until just a few months ago — I thought everything had to be purchased at the iTunes store. Amazon’s mp3s are often much cheaper, as well as they often have sweet little giveaways such as this.

maria February 7, 2011 at 10:52 am

Can someone please share how to transfer MP3′s to iTunes? I need to learn how to do this also. Thanks!

kristen February 7, 2011 at 11:11 am

I love getting legit free music!

GM February 7, 2011 at 11:37 am

It’s giving me the same error message- and I didn’t forget the S. Just to be sure I tried copying and pasting it too but that gave me the same results. =/

Mrs K February 7, 2011 at 12:14 pm

It’s giving me the same error message, and I copied it directly so it has the -s. Hmmmm.

jennifer February 7, 2011 at 1:07 pm

I just love this blog site! You are the BEST at finding deals!
Thank you!

Tracy February 7, 2011 at 2:17 pm

Not working for me either and I have the S at the end :(

Nicole February 7, 2011 at 3:43 pm

Thanks so much!

Bethany Brewster February 7, 2011 at 3:51 pm

Thanks for sharing the great Deal!

Rylan Starr February 7, 2011 at 6:40 pm

Thanks so much for sharing!

Bek February 7, 2011 at 6:51 pm

Thank you!! I love these! I have a growing list on of songs on amazon that I want to purchase, and this makes it so nice. :) It’s fantastic if you have more than one email address and account, as well ;)

Lori February 7, 2011 at 7:58 pm

The code didn’t work for me. It says there is an error. Here is the code I entered VDAYMP3S.

Dawn February 7, 2011 at 8:15 pm

It’s not working for me either and I copied & pasted it too.

Jessica February 7, 2011 at 8:35 pm

Not working for me either.. and that’s with the S. :o (

Lori February 7, 2011 at 10:51 pm

I’m gonna have to be redundant . . . but it’s not working for me either. I have the “s” at the end. I copied and pasted it. I even tried just typing it out. Am I supposed to put it in the “redeem gift card” spot – or is there another spot? The link only took me to an album called “there is a way” for $4.95. ??

Thanks!

Lori February 7, 2011 at 10:54 pm

Ok – I just found out the info (a little link in the top right corner saying something about giving free MP3′s as valentines to others).
Here it is:
Instructions
1. Browse for music at Amazon MP3. All Amazon MP3 downloads play on virtually any MP3 device, including the iPod®.

2. Find the MP3 album or song you want to give. Click the “Give album or song as a gift” button (or the “Give song as a gift” button).

3. Follow the instructions to personalize your MP3 gift and click the “Proceed to Checkout” button. (If you do not currently have a credit card and billing address associated with your account, you will need to add them.)

4. On the checkout page, enter code VDAYMP3S in the box labeled “Have any gift cards, gift certificates, or promotional claim codes?” and click the “Apply” button. Your $2 credit will be added. If you receive an error, make sure you’ve entered the code correctly and that the promotion is still valid and has not expired.

5. After you’ve entered the code, click on the “Give song as a gift” button. On the Thank You page, if you like, you can click the Facebook or Twitter buttons to tell your friends about the MP3 you chose and pass the word along about this offer. See how.
