On the Pantene deal…if you buy 2 @ 3.50 that’s $7.00. If you get $4.00 RR and use $3/2 coupon..doesn’t that make it free???

    • Crystal January 08, 2011 at 09:19 pm

      Yes, thanks for catching that!

      • Blaire Ruch January 08, 2011 at 09:41 pm

@Crystal, For the Pantene deal, only $2 RR are given, not $4 RR. http://walgreens.shoplocal.com/walgreenssneakpeek/Default.aspx?action=detail&storeid=2430116&rapid=0&listingid=-2084952335&offerid=

When using the $2/1 in-ad coupon for the 2 Reach toothbrushes- will it deduct $2 total, or $2 per toothbrush making it $4 total?

    • Jessica Ross January 09, 2011 at 01:39 pm

@Chelsea, I used this deal this morning. It takes $2 off of EACH toothbrush up to 3 toothbrushes with just the one in-ad coupon. My Walgreens had some of these toothbrushes on clearance for $2.99 as well :) I bought 1 for $2.99, 1 for $3.99, used the $2 off each coupon in ad and then the $2/2 printable and got each toothbrush for $.49 each.

      • Chelsea January 10, 2011 at 09:51 am

@Jessica Ross, Wow, great job! And thanks for the reply :)

Awesome, I might just have to shop Walgreens. I have not done so in a while, thanks to the frustrating coupon ordeals.

Yesterday I found Walgreens had Christmas Candy at 75% off . I bought 1lb bags of Starlite mints (those round red and white ones) at 74 cents! They also had Lindt Truffles in Christmas boxes (Red Wrapped Chocolate) at $1.24. Both are perfect taken out of the holiday packages and gift wrapped for Valentines day. Check out other Wags in your area to see what goodies they have.

does anyone know if the vitamins are rolling rewards? I could stand to stock up on vitamins for my kiddos.

  • Corrie January 09, 2011 at 11:01 am

    Thanks for the linky!

  • Sarah P. January 09, 2011 at 01:31 pm

Unfortunately, my walgreens will not accept another coupon with a Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupon. The only place the will around here is Target.

  • Debby January 09, 2011 at 06:25 pm

Thanks for letting me link up! Love looking at all the great deals everyone has scored!!

  • Jenny January 09, 2011 at 09:03 pm

I love all that I’m learning from you guys! I just got Target to price match to Walgreens for 12 pk/pop. Saved me an extra trip to Walgreens :)

  • marcy January 09, 2011 at 09:10 pm

Our S.S. only has $1.00 off of 2 colgate toothbrushes, and the reach coupon in my area didn’t match either:(
I have been having trouble with the coupons I print off the internet not going threw at Walgreens, anyone else having this issue?

    • Rachel @ Jewish Mommie January 10, 2011 at 06:53 pm

      @marcy,

Marcy – I just had this problem at my Walgreens – my Bic coupon didn’t go through and they wouldn’t accept the Walgreens in-store coupon along with the internet coupons. After calling the manager and a whole hoopla, everything seemed to go through until I looked at my receipt and was out $8 more than I should have been. I’m debating returning the Reach and the Bic, but not sure if it’s worth the hassle…

  • Shelly January 10, 2011 at 02:57 pm

Having trouble finding the coupon on the internet for the Bic Triumph pens, I just find ads. Anyone else figure it out?
    thx, Shelly

  • Nancy C January 11, 2011 at 05:33 am

So I was wondering if anyone has tried to use the B2G1 secret deodorizer coupon with the sale that Walgreen’s has going on right nowcB1G1 50% off?

    • Nancy C January 13, 2011 at 01:58 am

      @Nancy C,

So I went today to try out the deal about. It worked! I got 3 Secret deodorants for $7.50! Since I had two of the coupons I did the same deal again! Huge savings! :)

  • Jean January 11, 2011 at 12:25 pm

So, I went to walgreen to use the in-ad coupon and the printable coupon to get Reach floss for free and walgreens would not accept my coupons because the price before tax was under $1. I was going to get a few more items like this one and tried the coupon thing and I could not get them for free at all. : (

    • Crystal January 11, 2011 at 02:27 pm

You need to give the manufacturer’s coupon first, then the Walgreens coupon. It should work without beeping that way.

  • Donna January 11, 2011 at 09:34 pm

So much fun at Walgreens this week…and my nearest store actually had everything in stock for a change! :-)

  • Bridie Sellers January 14, 2011 at 06:35 pm

Thanks for the opportunity to link up!
