Can’t wait it looks yummy. :) I love cinnamon raisin bread but hate paying for it and that it’s all white bread.

Love the lip-stick. Your girls look like they’re having a blast.

Can’t wait until my 22 month old has the attention span to do these fun things!! usually she acts interested but it’s just because she wants to eat whatever I’m making. She doesn’t quite understand yet :( Looks like you had tons of fuN!!

I was getting ready to beg you to post it now, too!! I just got through baking cookies and was thinking about baking some bread but don’t have a tried-and-true recipe. I suppose I’ll look around for another one until you post yours.

I used to enjoy cooking with my kids when they were young. This brings back memories. I would usually have a batch of dough for them and a batch for me, especially if we were having company. That way they could do what they wanted and be creative and I could have mine turn out the way I wanted it to. Your bread looks yummy!

that’s a great idea! Plus, it’s not like the ingredients for the second batch is expensive! what a wonderful way to encourage outside the box thinkers! I bet you have some wonderful memories of the different combos they came up with! I’ll have to try this with my kiddos.

I have always wanted a bread machine….now I want one even more!
Yum..cinnamon.

val January 29, 2011 at 8:18 am

you can totally make this sans bread machine….there is a basic bread recipe at http://www.hiillbillyhousewife.com that i use and tweak from there. u only knead for 5 minutes – super easy.

Lj January 28, 2011 at 10:24 pm

say, is this the second time you’ve posted that picture of delicious looking cinnamon raisin bread? I can’t wait until you post your recipe! I could do it with my own bread base, but I’m ever so curious what you use!

I will be checking back frequently for the recipe : )
