LOVE this idea! I have several walls that need some help but the idea of buying large frames and getting big pictures printed made me queasy just at the thought of it. This is the perfect solution. Thanks!

My husband and I made some of these to dress up the walls in our church. They were so easy and turned out very beautiful.

I did this with some plain canvas for our walls as our home is on the market and we had to remove family photos.

I made a version of this…but used for photos. I took a 4′X6′ piece of drywall and covered it in fabric (used decorator fabric purchased at Joannes for 50% off). I then took ribbon and criss crossed it across the front…it’s just like the photo/memory boards we have all seen for sale in the stores….the benefit of this is that you can make one the size to fit the wall you are covering, get the exact colors you prefer, and it it a lot cheaper. I also purchased some decorative push pins to help secure if needed. I have mine hung the long ways (landscape) in my stairway…am getting to ready to make 3 large ones to hang vertically for my mil. For her 3 I will use coordinating fabrics to keep it interesting and stylish.
