well, I don’t know the other target. My local target doesn’t accept this kind of olay coupon. I tried before for $1 olay. it beeped and the cashier and the manager said it has to used on full size.

I got the same excuse trying to use a $1 coupon on the travel size Tide today :(

Kelly December 28, 2010 at 8:50 pm

@CJ, If you print off the target coupon policy and show it to them they have to accept it.

CJ December 28, 2010 at 9:11 pm

Sometimes it’s just not worth the effort of trying to get them to follow their own policy :(

I agree. Target is not coupon friendly at all. I rarely shop there anymore.

@Kelly, i just read the target coupon policy. where does it say they have to accept coupons for travel-sized items? thanks.

Kim December 29, 2010 at 10:09 pm

@bob, The coupon itself should be good on travel-sized items unless specifically prohibited in the details. They just have to adjust it down in their computer to be a 97 cent off coupon since the coupon can’t be more than the price of the item (although some cashiers will let it go through that way if you buy other items).

Is the Jergens coupon working for anyone? It keeps giving me an error message after I enter all my information.

Paula December 28, 2010 at 9:03 pm

I received the same message…..not sure what’s up.

Emily December 29, 2010 at 12:48 pm

Me too!

All of these posts about Target being a bad coupon place makes me SO grateful that I have a wonderful Target near me. They are extremely coupon friendly and I’ve never had an issue. *knock on wood*

Now I think I better head to my Target and scoop up those freebies! :)

@Karen, Mine us to be like that too! Then they got really nasty about coupons – I ended up making a huge stink about it one day because they wouldn’t let me use (2) $0.50 manu coupons in one transaction (not Target cpns… normal manufacturer) I’m crossing my fingers though, because they’ve hired a batch of younger cashiers and I look for the 3-4 girls who’re SO nice and just scan the coupons… lol

Yeah, I can’t get the Jergens coupon either. Tried a few times yesterday, just tried it again and still no-go.
