Crystal, Thank you for all the DIY Christmas gift ideas! The sugar scrub from yesterday turned out awesome and I’m excited for the smores kits. Perfect!
Love the DIY Christmas gifts! First of all, I love receiving these type gifts – it makes me feel special! I love giving these gifts too, but I tend to go the route of doing a holiday tin filled with homemade goodies such as almond bark covered pretzels, fudge, Christmas cookies, homemade toffee, and little bites of homemade fruitcake. I always attach an handmade card or handmade tag and tie with ribbon.
I’ve also made homemade kahlua and irish cream and bottled them in small bottles and given as a set to my close friends and family. Those were a huge hit. I printed labels on my computer and stuck them to the bottles and tied the necks with curling ribbon.
A friend of mine gave salt scrubs one year, and I used every bit of mine. She tied a cute little metal scoop to the jar (fiy the metal scoop rusted, so plastic would be better for the shower!)
I’d love to hear what stores would possibly carry the clear plastic boxes for the smores kit.
@JC,
Me, too! Any common ones? Maybe JoAnn’s or Michael’s?
@JC,
I’ve looked at Joann’s, Michael’s, Party City and the Dollar Store and haven’t had any luck!
love the smores kit! this year so many family members are going through hard times, so I’m making freezer meals. breakfast-cinnamon rolls/quiche, lunch-broccoli mac ‘n cheese, and dinner- pizza kits/not sure what else?
Love the chai tea idea! Thanks for all of the inspiration you share with others.
Thanks for including my chai tea kit idea, Crystal ~ it was very sweet of you! I love the ideas you’ve been sharing

These are all SO cute, Crystal! Thanks for sharing
All three of these ideas are wonderful. Our family is doing all homemade gifts this year, and I think we will be making some of these. Thanks so much for posting.
