Just a warning: the recipe does not work if you substitute beeswax for emulsifying wax (which has chemical ingredients). I’m trying to make an all-natural lotion (i.e. no chemicals) and haven’t yet found a good recipe with JUST beeswax (no Borax either because that’s not good for sensitive skin). I’m trying a new recipe today though, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
This site and the recipes are wonderful! Thank you for posting!
Thank you Crystal for linking to my site! Emily, you can use beeswax, however you will need to use a stick blender to mix it so that it won’t separate. It takes longer and is a bit messier to do that, however worth it if you prefer beeswax.
do you know if you can use coconut oil instead of olive oil?
