My aunt did this one year by filling balloons with water! Very cool!

What a great idea! I may try this out since I live in a snowy cold area (at least this week it is)!

I can’t wait to see what the light is like from the flame through the ice!!!

Love these! We have done them in the past with balloons. I would recommend the battery powered “flameless” or LED candles as they melt quite quickly!

Being from New England, we love Tasha Tudor. She made luminaries out of snow mounds leading up to her front door. She made little “igloos” in the snow and stuck candles in them. They glow through the mounds and look beautiful!
