I’m trying the chore planner. for 1$ what could it hurt? Maybe it will help me be better organized. Thanks for the tip. If I like it, I can go back and get all of next years too!!
I love these planners, I bought the entire year for 2011 and for only $7
thank you!
Crystal, I just wanted to say thank you!! This blog is truly life changing. I am not the person I was a year and a half ago when I first found this blog. My marriage and life are better! Thanks!
Thanks so much for sharing. That’s so wonderful and was a huge encouragement to me!
I heard tons of great things about Motivated Moms so I checked it out and even bought it, but I never stuck with it. I know lots of people loved it though!! I found it works better for me to just stay on top of cleaning little things daily and picking up after myself and have certain days for bigger things like vacuuming, laundry, etc.
@Samantha @ Mama Notes, You have to try LifeAsMom’s planner! The daily checklists and weekly chore areas would be great! I highly recommend Jessica’s planner!
” It has helped me streamline my life so that I’m not rushing through your days like a chicken with its head cut off. ”
I’m sure this is a blooper, but it’s so cute! Thanks for the laugh!
I bought Tell Your Time when if first came out, and I’m loving it! I haven’t gotten it onto paper yet, but just having her ideas in my head has made a big difference.
Oops! Thanks for catching my typo. I guess I’m still working on not rushing through writing posts.
Thanks @Rachel, I’m so glad it’s been helpful!
Too bad the “Tell Your Time” is not an audio book. I would love to get it for my husband who is always looking for ways to streamline his schedule. But I know he would rather listen to this book as opposed to take the time to read it even if it is a short one.
@Lena, hmmm…that’s an idea. I’ll have to ponder if and how I might make that work. Thanks for the idea!
Thank you so much for posting these. I’ve been wanting to try the Motivated Mom’s, but I was never motivated enough to spend the $8. So for $1, I’ll see what it’s like so I can buy it for next year if it improves our lives.
thank you so much!
Hi Crystal,
I’m a newby to your blog as of 2 nights ago and so far I’m hooked! I even told my mother-in-law about it this morning, as a matter of fact.
I have a 10 month old and my husband just deployed earlier this month. I’m finding it hard to get motivated to do the daily chores I used to when my husband was home. We were baptized together before he left and I’ve even fallen behind on my daily devotionals. I love your planner downloads! I was just wondering if you made your own planner downloads or if you use one from any of the particular above?
Joy from FiveJs.com made mine for me based upon what has been working for me. I hope that helps!
I’ve wanted to try the Motivated Moms planner, so being able to try out a few months at just a $1.00 is great!
I have a question if you are able to answer. Would you recommend getting a planner like “Life as Mom” if you get the “Tell Your Time”? I didn’t know if they would complement each other or if something else would complement “Tell Your Time”. Thanks so much! Lord bless!
Hmm, good question. I think they could compliment one another, though they are two different “systems” per see. You can see what I use here: http://moneysavingmom.com/2010/11/time-management-101-make-a-personalized-plan-part-2.html
I think it would depend upon the kind of person you are and what works for you. You might check out the free downloads of the Organizing Your Life as Mom to get an idea of whether it would work for you or not.
My best friend Rachel printed out three weeks of the Motivated Mom Chore lists and I decided to buy it. After only two weeks of using the check lists my husband actually complemented me on how great the place has been looking lately! I was excited to see that they included Bible readings. I think check lists are my MO.
Thanks so much Crystal! I don’t know if I would have ever found such a useful tool without your help…and Rachel’s too!
