Oh, how I wish I could do this. I’m still at work at that time. Such a bummer!!!! I’ve just recently been learning to sew.

YAY!! i’m excited! I learned some things in MS and some from my mom. But that was a long time ago. I’m recently venturing back into the world of sewing. Can’t wait!

My daughter (a homeschool Sr) teaches sewing classes to other homeschoolers. This is a great alternative for those who can’t make her classes. Thank you for sharing.

This is great! I had signed up for sewing classes at JoAnn, but had to cancel. I’ve since taught myself the basics, but my daughter wants to learn, so this will be great to watch with her, to make sure I don’t miss something!

I am so pleased this was posted! Just yesterday I attended a Salvation Army annual event where hundreds of dolls, dressed in clothes lovingly sewn by volunteeers are displayed before they are handed out to needy children for the holidays. There are also dolls beautifully dressed with complete wardrobes that are auctioned off to help pay for the purchase of undressed dolls for next year. I so wanted to help this worthwhile cause by sewing clothes for a doll . Due to a not so good Home Ec teacher, I never learned to sew. This might be just what I need to kickstart me into sewing! Thanks so much for posting this!
