    Yes! These will be a great Christmas present for my parents who love having birds around in the yard (as does their cat…. ). For those of you in apartment or rental homes, make sure you are allowed to feed the birds before you put one of these up. It is against our lease agreement to feed the animals.

    Can anyone tell me how much their store charged for the bird seed and what size you got? My Wal-Mart didn’t carry it but looks like you can also buy it at Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Menard’s or PetSmart.

    My Walmart had it for $4.27 I think. It was about $2 after the coupon. The only bag they had was a 10lb bag. Sorry I already threw the receipt away so I can’t give the exact price.
