Shipping is free on orders over $50 when you use coupon code ONSHIP50 so if you need to purchase a few jackets, you can save the gas of going to the store and likely have a better selection by ordering online.

To see all the jackets on sale, go to Old Navy and click on any of the advertised items on the $16 Sale page. Then, click on the “Today’s Deal: Jackets” link on the sidebar and it will pull up all the jackets they have on sale for $16.

Thanks now I don’t have to go to the store :)
Shop at Home is 4% back

If you order online, be sure to read the reviews. There is only one woman’s jacket and from the sounds of it, it may not be a great deal if you can’t try it on first. The reviews were pretty negative.

      Thanks for the head’s up!

I agree with FishMama…I’m glad I read the reviews first. This does not sound like a jacket you would want to wear for WI winters!!

  • Stephanie October 09, 2010 at 08:26 am

Yeah I was going to take advantage of this too until I read the reviews. Most people are saying it’s too thin and cheaply made! I want a thin jacket cause I hate the bulky ones when I am driving but I want it to be warm too! The childrens jackets look nice though.

I actually just went to the store and tried the women’s jacket on and loved it! $49.50 for $16 is great. It was plenty thick for my area of the country and very cute. It was not at all bulky, and had a fit that was closer to the body. I love it. @Stephanie,

If you signed up to get Old Navy emails in the past- check your emails from yesterday! I got an email with a mystery offer of up to 50% off (it is a code that you enter at checkout). Mine was for 30% so I got my 15 month old daughter a jacket for about $11 (it will match the snowpants I got her last year on clearance from Old Navy)! If it is really cheap looking when I get it I’ll just return it in store.

I agree that the Old Navy Women’s jackets that are on sale are cheap looking- I bought the same style last year and promptly returned it.

I’m trying to order, but free shipping is not coming up on orders over $50. Is there a special code for this?

    • Kristin October 09, 2010 at 09:36 am

@Janet, There is a code, ONSHIP50, I think. It’s at the top of the main page.

I bought a super cute coat for my daughter and then a few shirts and such that we needed anyway. I love Old Navy stuff…cute and not too expensive! So glad that the coats were available online, I wouldn’t have gone to the store today.

  • Stephanie October 09, 2010 at 09:43 am

To sweeten the deal, check your email to see if you received a “surpise” code yesterday for an additional percentage off, ranging from 20% to 50%. I got an additional 20% off the $16 with my code! It is online only.

    • Lori Lovelady October 09, 2010 at 12:31 pm

      MPVMVW7D3QFQ is the code I found on-line. I got 20% off.

  • Angela October 09, 2010 at 09:47 am

I tried to order earlier and coats weren’t available in the sizes I need.

  • Wendy October 09, 2010 at 10:00 am

I went in the store yesterday and looked at the coats…just not impressed. I found some nicer ones at a thrift store yesterday that were gymboree and much cheaper. I did find a costume though for my little one!

    • guest October 09, 2010 at 07:30 pm

@Wendy, A costume was the only thing that I bought, too! My one-year-old is going to be a slice of pizza ($4).

  • Baby Coupon Mom October 09, 2010 at 10:01 am

Yes, you can use ONSHIP50 code to get free shipping over $50.

  • Lilianne October 09, 2010 at 10:13 am

If you are having trouble with the free shipping code make sure you have $50 of merchandise in your cart…they don’t include the tax and such in that $50.

  • tina b October 09, 2010 at 10:22 am

YAY! Thanks for the heads up! Saved us a trip to the store…shopped from our couch, and now we have more time to spend at the apple orchard!! :D

  • Morgan October 09, 2010 at 01:08 pm

Thank you for the heads up AND free shipping code! We bought 3 coats plus a pair of flip flops for the orig. price of one coat. :)

  • Jennifer October 09, 2010 at 02:07 pm

Nothing in the size I need … bummer.

  • Sarah October 09, 2010 at 05:46 pm

Everyone is complaining about the thin-ness of the coat, but what do you expect for $16? :)
I tried it on the store and thought that for the money they were very cute! I am not sure why everyone thinks they are cheaply made – they looked fine to me! Also, coming from Old Navy, I don’t expect the super nice stuff that holds up forever – that is why it is not so expensive.
I was also going to mention the surprise extra percent off but looks like everyone beat me to it!
I made an order today and feel like I got a great deal with the free shipping and 20% off!

This is EXACTLY why I love reading Money Saving Mom! Even though I live in Canada, we live near the border and happened to be going to the USA tonight (I live 4 minutes from the border!) to a mall with an Old Navy. I’m sitting here in my pretty turquoisy-blue puffy coat! Not too puffy, but warm enough for our winters here, and fits great! Excellent deal!

    • Crystal October 09, 2010 at 10:12 pm

      Yay!

  • Alaine October 11, 2010 at 08:54 am

I bought the pictured jacket above in the store on Sat… it is a thin jacket but perfect for the cold fall nights we’ve been having lately! And the best part… the Old Navy I went to only had 2 cashiers working (?!) which means there was a verrrry long line, but an employee was going around passing out $5 giftcards for our long wait! So my jacket only wound up costing $11!!! Can’t beat that!
