An opportunity to earn up to $30 per week taking surveys (limited to 50 readers)

by Crystal on September 9, 2010

Update: This survey opportunity is closed for now. They are accepting all 600+ of those of you who signed up!

I’ve worked closely in previous months with CampusFundraiser to bring your discounted All You magazine subscriptions. CampusFundraiser also has an Online Survey Program and they would like to test this program outside of a collegiate market, which is their normal demographic.

They contacted me and asked if I would be interested in testing this with 50 of my readers. When I read the details and discovered that the accepted participants would have the opportunity to make up to $30 per week each week, I jumped on it as I knew many of you would be thrilled to have such an opportunity.

Please note that CampusFundraiser is paying me a small amount for each survey participants complete in exchange for me helping them to find trustworthy participants. If you do not feel comfortable participating based upon this knowledge, I totally understand.

Here are the details on the program:

Money Saving Mom® Online Survey Program (limited to 50 participants)

There are three different survey opportunities which the 50 participants will be able to participate in:

Invitation Survey: These will come every couple of days and provide you the opportunity to complete one survey. They will usually be titled “Movie Survey” or “Need Women 25-35″ to give participants some understanding of what type of survey it is. If you are qualified, you move on to participate in the survey and will normally earn 50 market points, which translates to $1 but sometimes, $2, $4 — with the highest surveys ever having been $11, $20 and $45. You will be told in the invitation if the survey is of a high value. If you are not qualified (i.e. they are doing a survey on a man’s razor and you you are a female) you will be “screened out” and will earn usually 5 market points or $0.10 for the attempt.

CF Daily Survey: This will come to your email a few times a week but there is no need to wait for it’s arrival! Copy and paste the link to your desktop and complete a survey every day. The survey pool will continue to offer you opportunities until you are able to complete a survey or the opportunities are out. If the latter happens, simply return to the link later in the day. There are no points offered in screening out of a daily survey and 35 market points ($0.70) offered for your regular Daily complete.

Daily 5 Survey: You can copy and paste the Daily Survey link to your browser and complete up to five surveys per day! There are no points for a screen out, but you’ll get 35 market points or $0.70 for each of the completed surveys. This opportunity informs you of the time involved in each survey (5 minutes-35 minutes) so you can easily decide to return later if you don’t have the time.

Taking advantage of all 3 opportunities can earn an individual around $30 a week or more!

How do you get started?: Click here and register your information to become a part of The Money Saving Mom® Survey Panel. The panel is only open to 50 participants currently, but if the program is successful, they will open it up to everyone else at a later date.

Please disregard the collegiate or group wording that will be peppered entirely throughout the registration process and remember you are the first participants outside the collegiate market to have been approached with this opportunity.

At the end of the registration process, you will be given a username and password at the bottom of the last screen.  Please save this for your records.  You will need this when checking your account activity going forward.

To check your account activity, simply go to www.campusfundraiser.com and click on “View Your Account” in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Use your login information here. Your activity will be found on the Current Fundraiser Tab, Survey Fundraiser 2010/2011.

How do I get paid?: Once you have earned $25, (which can be on a weekly basis if you are an active participant), just contact CampusFundraiser to request a payout. Make sure to provide your address information during registration and allow 3-4 weeks for processing and mailing of payment.

Please contactmrijos@campusfundraiser.com with questions or to request a payout and please refer to the fact you are part of The Money Saving Mom® Survey Panel.

Activity is updated every few days and will not be available live.

Once registered, you can respond to and complete surveys online, easily making a few dollars per day as you surf the net. Because of CampusFundraiser’s strict privacy policy, your information will not be shared with any 3rd party or the survey companies themselves.  Everything will be filtered through CampusFundraiser themselves and come via email from cfsurveys.com so as not to be confused with any other program you may be taking advantage of.

Sarah J September 9, 2010 at 2:45 pm

Okay, looks like way over 50 members when I just looked….how do we know if we made it??

Jenni September 9, 2010 at 2:46 pm

Thanks for the invite, can’t wait to see how this works. Great timing as we are needing some extra cash with me losing my job!

Jennifer E. September 9, 2010 at 2:47 pm

Thanks I Just Signed Up!

Abbie September 9, 2010 at 2:47 pm

I am registered. Question: what is the link we use to complete the CF Daily Survey and/or the Daily 5 Surveys? I’m a little confused about those. Thank you!

Brittian September 9, 2010 at 3:57 pm

I too am confused where to find this info.

@Abbie,

Maura Rijos September 9, 2010 at 8:18 pm

@Brittian,

Hi Ladies,

The link will be sent to you daily. Everyone registered will receive the link tomorrow. Save it on your desktop and click on it when you have time to take a survey :0)

Kassandra Wood September 9, 2010 at 2:49 pm

I filled out all of the information and it gave me a username and password, but when I went to the Manage group Members tab, there were over 100 names there. How do we know if we were selected?

Patty Farnsley September 9, 2010 at 2:49 pm

This is exciting!

Nicole September 9, 2010 at 2:49 pm

I signed up and it gave me a user name and pw guess that means I’m accepted :)

Robyn September 9, 2010 at 2:50 pm

Done!! Thanks…wonder if it will be as good as Pinecone..I love them!!

Jessica Jury September 9, 2010 at 2:52 pm

I signed up too, but how do we know if we are one of the first 50? Thanks for this great opportunity to earn some extra income! We are taking Financial Peace right now and I am so excited to be able to have some extra money to apply to our debt snowball!

Heather Ransick September 9, 2010 at 2:52 pm

I think I did something wrong, I’m all signed up but my last screen didn’ give me a username or password. I emailed them hopefully I can fix it.

LK September 9, 2010 at 2:52 pm

Excited to try this, and got a login/password, but there are way over 50 people on the registered page. I hope that doesn’t mean some will need to be dropped? This is a great opportunity!

Tina September 9, 2010 at 2:53 pm

Crystal,
I just thought you should know that, first of all, there are WAY more than 50 members in the group now according to the website (who have all been given user names and passwords). Second, our e-mail addresses AND telephone numbers are published to everyone else in the fundraising group. I’m sure there are people who wouldn’t want this information known to others they haven’t met (and you seem one who would want to know this was happening).

Thanks for all you do!

Celina September 9, 2010 at 3:10 pm

@Tina,
I just noticed this too . . . not very happy about this . . .

JessieLeigh September 9, 2010 at 4:14 pm

@Tina, I, too, noticed there was info published that I would care to keep private… I sent an email requesting my removal. We’ll see if they honor my request… hope so! It sounds like a wonderful opportunity… maybe I’m just paranoid..

Crystal September 9, 2010 at 4:17 pm

They’ve promised me that all contact info will be removed in the next half hour. See Alisha’s note below on why they usually do things this way for Collegiate surveys.

Maura Rijos September 9, 2010 at 8:20 pm

@Crystal, This is all set everyone’s email and phone number is no longer posted. Thanks!

Kris September 9, 2010 at 2:53 pm

Sounds fun! I’m all signed up. Thanks!

Lisa September 9, 2010 at 2:53 pm

THANKS! Let’s see how well we can do!

Sheila September 9, 2010 at 2:55 pm

Same here Nicole got a user name and p/w so I am assuming the same as well!!! So excited! Thanks Crystal :)

Rachel September 9, 2010 at 2:56 pm

I too signed up and am excited about it! When I logged in to my account, though, there is a list of everyone participating and it is way longer than 50 people. How do they narrow it down to 50?

Suzanne September 9, 2010 at 3:00 pm

Thanks! Sounds great!

Jen September 9, 2010 at 3:00 pm

Does anyone realize they publish our first and last names, emails, and phoe numbers within the group accoun setting? Is there a way to delete or modify my information?

Kellie September 9, 2010 at 3:02 pm

I must have missed something – way more than 50 people, and everyone’s entire email and phone number are listed on the group list – I’d rather not have this info “out there” for everyone who has signed up! I may be contacting customer service to have my name removed.

Crystal September 9, 2010 at 3:06 pm

I just contacted them about this as I didn’t realize this was going to be public to group members. My apologies on that!

Mary September 9, 2010 at 3:13 pm

@Crystal,

Is that info going to be removed then?

Crystal September 9, 2010 at 3:16 pm

I’ve asked them to take care of this ASAP.

Mary September 9, 2010 at 3:05 pm

How do we contact customer service? I want my personal info removed!!!

Christy September 9, 2010 at 3:16 pm

@Mary,
I am most definitely upset all of our information that we posted is now public information for all involved! This needs to be changed and fast, otherwise, I need to opt out of this one. Not cool.

Willowkarr September 9, 2010 at 3:05 pm

I signed up, but it says only open to 50 people. I look in the group section and there is more than 50 people, who’s names start with A, alone, so there is WAY more than 50 people signed up…..are we all in, or not?

Crystal September 9, 2010 at 3:25 pm

Yes, as stated at the top of the post in the update, everyone who signed up before registration closed is in (all 600+ of you!).

Patti September 9, 2010 at 3:05 pm

I agree! I was shocked to see everyone’s e-mail and telephone number published for all to see!!!

carrie September 9, 2010 at 3:12 pm

I have signed up and got a user name and password and I cannot seem to find the link for the daily 5 that you are talking about?
thanks carrie

Holly September 9, 2010 at 3:16 pm

I just signed up. Thanks!

Venessa September 9, 2010 at 3:20 pm

I contacted them regarding my phone number and e-mail being made available and not protecting my privacy by doing so. Hopefully they will remove it, this looks like a great opportunity for extra Christmas money.

Mei-Lyn September 9, 2010 at 3:24 pm

Is there a way for college students to sign up for the collegiate testing group?

Candace September 9, 2010 at 3:29 pm

I signed up, got a user name and password but can’t log in. I requested my password to be emailed and it says I’m in the group but won’t take my password.

Lisa K September 9, 2010 at 3:40 pm

Thanks for looking into getting our info removed, I JUST changed my phone number to a magic jack (can’t afford anything else right now) and it really needed to be kept private and personal. This was the first thing I shared it on because I could really use the $ and it was necessary to participate! :)

Crystal September 9, 2010 at 4:00 pm

They are working on it right now. My apologies on that. This is a test group — and we’re all learning as we go!

Amy September 9, 2010 at 5:39 pm

@Crystal,
Thanks for such a quick response! You do a great job of giving us safe deals to sign up for. I’m sure you were as surprised as everyone else! Thanks for all you do to help us serve our families!!!

Emily September 9, 2010 at 3:41 pm

Please let us know if we might have an opportunity to still participate at a later date! I would love to participate, but did not see this before you reached the limit. I would love to be contacted if they open it to more people. Thank you!

Brittian September 9, 2010 at 3:44 pm

Thank you so much for this opportunity. My husband and I are going through Financial Peace as well and this will really help with the debt snowball. Thank you again.

Jessica September 9, 2010 at 3:45 pm

Thank you for the update, Crystal! Could you also give a quick update when they take care of that issue with the personal information being visible?

Crystal September 9, 2010 at 3:59 pm

Their tech people are working on it as we speak.

Jessica September 9, 2010 at 5:08 pm

@Crystal,

Much appreciated! :-D

Candice September 9, 2010 at 3:55 pm

I’m all signed up and waiting on the first survey!

Stephanie September 9, 2010 at 3:57 pm

I had to laugh. Really? 600+? What a responsive readership you have! =) Thanks for posting this and all the other great deals lately.

Allyson September 9, 2010 at 4:02 pm

I also didn’t get in on this deal and would love to be included if it opens again in the future. My husband is a full time student and I’m a stay at home mom to 3 children age three and under so we could definitely use the extra cash. How do we know when they’ll be accepting more people for this group? Is there a email list we can addourselves to?

Crystal September 9, 2010 at 4:07 pm

I’ll post again if they decide to open it up to everyone.

Alisha Kilham September 9, 2010 at 4:10 pm

TO ALL WHOM SIGNED UP FOR THIS TEST: Participation was far higher (and quicker) than anticipated for the test. Everyone who signed up prior to the link being taken down (I believe about 1,000 people) will be included in the program! Second, as to everyone’s concern about contact information being shown, we are addressing that and will remove this information asap. As mentioned, we work with collegiate groups and this is usually how they contact each other for motivation within a fundraising event. As to the receipt of surveys, you may receive something as soon as tomorrow but it can take up to 48-72 hours to receive your first survey invitation. We appreciate your patience and hope this is a huge success for everyone involved!

Maura Rijos September 9, 2010 at 4:11 pm

Contact Info will be removed asap! Thanks!

shawn'l September 9, 2010 at 7:15 pm

@Maura Rijos, Thank you for the quick response.

Becca Long September 9, 2010 at 4:18 pm

I really hope they do this again. I was to late to signup and would LOVE to do it!!

Jennifer September 9, 2010 at 5:29 pm

So glad I got in on this!! Thanks for sharing this with us and to the company for letting all of us in!! LOL!

Rosa September 9, 2010 at 6:01 pm

Just signed up. Thank you.

Alisha Kilham September 9, 2010 at 6:02 pm

The contact information page has been removed! As we go through this test we welcome other suggestions on improvements and ways to tweak the system so it is more user friendly for your demographic.

Celina September 9, 2010 at 6:23 pm

@Alisha Kilham,
Thank you!!!

Abbie September 10, 2010 at 7:50 am

@Celina, Thanks, Alisha for being open to suggestions. Here’s mine: mom’s time to sit down at the computer is extremely minimal. I just spent 10 minutes filling out a “survey” only to find out that I didn’t qualify for the survey. I don’t have that kind of time. Fewer introductory questions is the only way I would be open to participating again in the future.

Kassandra Wood September 9, 2010 at 6:37 pm

Whooooo Hoooooo! I am in! That pays for our 9-year-old’s gymnastics fees! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Abbie September 9, 2010 at 6:50 pm

Ha ha- Money Saving Moms are giving them a run for their money! I’m thinking the test group passed the test…

Carrie September 10, 2010 at 4:58 am

You said that there were links we could go to to take the surveys, but I don’t see those links posted anywhere. Could you please let us know what those links are or how we can find them? Thanks!

Maura Rijos September 10, 2010 at 6:16 am

@Carrie, Carrie these links will be emailed to you on a daily basis. There are 3 links

1. CF DAILY 5 you can complete up to 5 per day (some of your readers have completed 3 from this morning)
2. CF Daily this will will allow you to complete another survey
3. This one has a subject in the email such as “movie survey” or New Survey with a 5 digit number this one is invitation only you may not get this everyday. 1 and 2 you can paste on your desktop and don’t have to wait daily for it. I send it out every couple of days to remind people to take surveys :0). Most if no ALL readers should of received your first CF DAILY 5 link this morning. Please check your junk folder in case you don’t see it in your inbox. THANKS!

niki September 10, 2010 at 7:39 am

aaahhhhh! i missed it :( i hope i can get in this program soon :(

Abbie September 10, 2010 at 7:48 am

FYI- I just spent 10 minutes doing what I thought was a survey, only to be told I didn’t qualify. Not worth my time for $0.70 a survey.

Crissy September 10, 2010 at 8:18 am

I was so hoping to get in. If they need anyone else we would great appreciate it. Lord bless.

Danielle September 10, 2010 at 9:31 am

I am really confused, I received an email with the link. I click on the link and it ask my birth date and the country I live in and then it goes to a white screen. I have went through this several times and still the same thing. Not sure how this works but I have not even been able to take a survey or been denied because of this. Can anyone help?

serra September 10, 2010 at 9:51 am

just wondering when/where the money earned shows up? I have taken a least 5 surveys but don’t show any money added up anywhere. Does it take a while to show?

Maura Rijos September 10, 2010 at 12:52 pm

@serra, Hi Serra,

Our system in not live.. Everything earned today will be uploaded tomorrow and won’t update till midnight. There is about a 24-48 hr delay in updates. Thanks

Jen September 10, 2010 at 10:43 am

I am so disappointed I didn’t check your site yesterday several times a day, like I usually do~~This time I lost out big time!! With a husband in real estate, it would have really helped us with these uncertain times.

Vieve September 10, 2010 at 5:56 pm

So you have to be signed into the Campus Fundraiser site in order to have your account credited? I was not signed in when I took my 1st survey. How in the universe can the survey know who I am and where to put credit? The survey was from an outside link, not a link off of Campus Fundraiser…just a bit nervous.

Maura Rijos September 10, 2010 at 6:52 pm

@Vieve, Hi Vieve,

The link you clicked on that brought you to the survey has an event number and your pid number when I upload your earnings it will automatically match your id to your name and award you the proper amount. To view your earnings you log into your account. Please understand that our system is not live. I have to wait until the survey companies report to me there is a 24-48 hr delay in updating our system. Thanks!

Maura Rijos September 11, 2010 at 10:22 am

Wow!!! Yesterdays results for completing surveys was amazing! Anyone that completed surveys yesterday the results will update at midnight tonight. Please check your accounts tomorrow or if you still up like me at midnight :0). Great Work!

Jennifer September 11, 2010 at 11:52 am

@Maura Rijos, Thanks for the updates, Maura! I’ve taken several surveys yesterday and today and I’m really enjoying them. Thanks, again!

Maura September 11, 2010 at 12:22 pm

@Jennifer, Thanks Jennifer! Glad your enjoying them because there are lots of surveys available. Thanks!

Christy September 11, 2010 at 11:55 am

@Maura Rijos,
Hi Maura,

Where can I go once logged into your website to find my points status? Currently I am unable to locate that information. And I have already completed a survey, so I just want to make sure there’s a place I can go to view my points.

Thank you in advance!
Christy

Maura September 11, 2010 at 12:23 pm

@Christy, Christy please email me at mrijos@campusfundraiser with your last name so I can locate you in our database. Thanks!

Kristen September 11, 2010 at 1:26 pm

I am finding that I have to go through many surveys before I get to one that I “qualify” for. I understand that different surveys are looking for different demographics, but I am having a hard time finding the ones that match up to me.

Maura Rijos September 12, 2010 at 12:27 pm

@Kristen, Kristen,

I’m sorry that’s happening unfortunately we have no control over that. If it was up to me everyone would qualify. Don’t give up! :0)

Jennifer September 12, 2010 at 12:43 pm

Hi, Maura. I was just wondering how we get paid .02 for a survey? Is that because we don’t qualify or is it from a certain type of survey where the payout is only that much? I thought I completed a few surveys (successfully) that first day, but only got 4 cents. Thanks for any info. I appreciate it! : )

Maura Rijos September 12, 2010 at 6:10 pm

@Jennifer, Jennifer.. The CF Daily surveys are worth 35 pts each you get $0.02 per pt… The invitation only surveys range anywhere from 50+pts. CF Daily Bonus are worth 35 pts each as well. If you received .04 in your account. Jennifer please email me at mrijos@campusfundraiser.com and I can look up your activity for accuracy. Thanks!

Kristine September 13, 2010 at 11:18 am

I can’t figure out how to take any surveys…how do I earn money? Is there a certain part of the website I have to click on? I found one survey but it just took me to a list of everyone’s names. Where are the CF Daily surveys located?

thanks!

Kristine September 14, 2010 at 9:37 am

and i have not gotten any emails….

Vieve September 13, 2010 at 8:45 pm

For tax purposes, how does the payout work? Do we get a W2 or are we expected to report this like “babysitting” cash?

Sarah September 14, 2010 at 6:32 am

Is anyone else having problems logging onto the CF website to check your earnings?? I have been receiving the e-mails and taking the surveys, but the past 2 days when I go to http://www.cfsurveys.com nothing comes up?? Makes me a little nervous!!

Jennifer September 14, 2010 at 1:47 pm

@Sarah, Sarah, try going here http://www.campusfundraiser.com/ to check your earnings. That’s the link I use to get in.

Kim September 15, 2010 at 8:01 am

Wow! Thanks for posting this link, Crystal! Just checked how much I’ve earned so far, and it’s already a little over $11. Yay! LOVING THIS!

Crystal September 15, 2010 at 8:41 am

Yay!
