I did this deal, along with the cheese deal (paired with the recent $5 off 5 coupon). It is a rolling catalina- but it only rolled 2 times for me. I was hoping for more but in the end 10 packages of cheese and 5 packages of nitrate free turkey dogs for $5 is a really good price!!

What is a catalina? I’m not a frequent Albertson’s shopper so if it is a Albertson’s thing I am totally clueless.

@Amy,
A catalina is a coupon that prints after you pay the items. It is good for your next purchase, like a coupon. For example, today I bought 5 cool whips, they cost me $5 + tax. Then with my receipt, the cashier gave me a $5 coupon for my next purchase. I immediately bought 5 more coolwhips, used the $5 coupon, and had to pay only sales tax. The register printed another $5 coupon for my next purchase. When in doubt, ask someone that works there. My Albertsons is always happy to help me work out the deals, so long as I don’t “take advantage”.

@Amy,

Amy, catalinas aren’t just from Albertsons. Other stores have them too, such as Walgreens, and Fred Meyer (and other Kroger affiliate stores). They’re the coupons that print out at the registers that you an use just like cash towards future purchases.
