PackLate: Discount Vacation Rentals + $25 off!

by Crystal on August 17, 2010

If you are traveling over Labor Day Weekend and need a place to stay, check out PackLate. It’s a new website for last-minute vacation rental deals and through August 18, 2010, they are offering some deep discounts on their prices.

For instance, a 4-bedroom home with private pool and spa in Orlando, FL is only $55 per night over Labor Day Weekend.

Plus, they offered my readers a coupon code that I wanted to pass along. If you use the code 4MoneySavingMoms, you’ll save an additional $25 off your first booking. This code is good through September 15, 2010.

Have any of you used PackLate before? If so, I’d love to hear about your experiences.

This looks really great, but the fees on some of these rentals are really high! For example, found a place that is 4 bed, 2.5 bath, and private pool in Davenport, Florida listed for $69.30/night, but with the fees it ends up being $312 for 2 nights! That is actually more than double the listed price.

Granted, that is still not too bad for a house that large, but I feel like they are trying to reel you in with initially low prices, but it actually costs more.

I linked to the site and it says that those dates are already booked. I chose different dates just to see and it was overf double the price. :(

For that same property, I just checked and I got this:
$55.00/night
original price $100.00/nightstaying 5 nights = $390.08 (includes all fees)

That was for Sept. 6-11
The price it shows includes all fees.

I’m booking my first time through them either today or tomorrow. I’ve talked to others, and I’ve talked to their customer service reps. They seem amazing! I can’t wait!
