Bummer, it doesn’t look like it will work with Windows 7.

jessica August 21, 2010 at 12:24 pm

Not for a Mac :(

Jean Taylor August 21, 2010 at 12:29 pm

This would not work. It wanted a credit card__

Pam August 21, 2010 at 12:57 pm

I downloaded it and then it asked for a product number. Could not proceed without one…….

Megan August 21, 2010 at 1:15 pm

@Pam,
I think you can find the product key by going to “your account” and scroll down to “digital content” . From there, click “your games & software library” you should be able to view the software you downloaded & see a button that says “view product key”.

Hope that helps! I’m still trying to get mine to download…it started out telling me it would take 6 hours (with highspeed!).

Rebecca August 21, 2010 at 1:27 pm

@Megan,
It’s saying that because it isn’t the 30 MB like the website says, but closer to 900 MB! That’s a HUGE difference! :( I decided to stop mine, because that is just way too suspicious for me. I’m going to contact Amazon personally and see what they have to say!

Megan August 21, 2010 at 1:58 pm

@Rebecca,
Thanks for the info. I was thinking it was only going to be 30 MB & didn’t want to add that much on my computer either. Please let us know if you find anything else out.

lisa August 21, 2010 at 1:00 pm

do i need to put ina credit card info? looks like i can’t download it without one? not sure why since it is free.

Dona August 21, 2010 at 1:07 pm

Read the review of the product….the one review said their computer rated it as malware and therefore they could not give it a review?? Made me leary to try it.

Melissa August 21, 2010 at 1:09 pm

FYI………..

For this product, this was in the Amazon.com Customer Review section today, August 21, 2010 : “Flagged by Anti-Virus software as malware! “BDS/Hupigon.Gen” which is a “Backdoor Server” by Avira Anti-Virus. Unfortunately do to this I am unable to use and rate the software for a proper review. Hopefully this is a false positive. 3 stars for benefit of the doubt. I do not wish to slam the item with out knowing if this is an error or real malware. ”

Just something to take note of, not sure if it is a true issue!

Rebecca August 21, 2010 at 1:24 pm

I decided to try it out. I’d love to try something like this. However, I quickly stopped the download, and here’s why. The page on Amazon states that it is 30 mb, but when you download it, it is almost 900 MB. That fact alone makes me HIGHLY suspicious! :( I had a feeling it might be too good to be true. :(

Oh and when you get it installed, I found a tutorial on youtube. There are a bunch of them.

Now it says it is unavailable.

Janie August 21, 2010 at 3:01 pm

I think that person’s ant-virus program flagged this software just because anti-virus programs sometimes accidentally do…I downloaded the software and entered the product key (found in your Digital Library under “my account” on Amazon) and the product seems to work fine for me :)

No problems here!

Beth August 21, 2010 at 3:03 pm

It say that it is unavailable.

Erin August 21, 2010 at 3:05 pm

This is unavailable now. Would anyone mind sharing theirs via email or facebook?

Monica August 21, 2010 at 3:45 pm

Unavailable. :-(

Jennifer August 21, 2010 at 5:12 pm

I downloaded it a couple of hours ago with no problems.

Lisa August 21, 2010 at 5:22 pm

This item is currently unavailable. :(

Just tried this out, I snagged one of the free ones before I went to work, but it didn’t finish downloading till I got home.

I had to put a Credit Card, though it was not charged.
I’m not to worried about it being malware, a lot of anti-virus has false positives. I trust Amazon enough to screen software that is sold as downloadable since it’d be on their servers too.

Seems to be working fine, was a slow start up though. I’m on Win7

Becky August 22, 2010 at 11:17 am

The 30 Meg file was the amazon Game & software down loader program. The actual scarp-booking program is much larger, due to it being much more complex.
