If you have unlimited texting, here’s a fairly simple way to earn $10:

::Sign up for Valued Opinions (a survey company) and then login and look for the Technology Survey.

::If it’s offered to you, you’ll just be asked to complete a 10-15 minute questionnaire and then for the next week, you’ll send a simple text message whenever you hear or see ads for specified products.

::Once the week is up, you’ll complete brief closing questionnaire to see what you remember about these ads and you’ll earn $10.

Apparently they don’t think I am who I say I am…(SHRUGS)

I double checked all my info, and my email is not registered in their system….

“Thank you very much for your interest in our service. Unfortunately you won’t be able to register with Valued Opinions. Our records indicate that your ID has already been registered for membership and/or data inconsistencies have been identified regarding the profile data you’re providing.”

@Nicole Pulliam, don’t feel bad – mine said the same thing!

I would like to try this but am afraid that I will be charged extra on my cellphone bill. I do have unlimited texting though.

Kate July 29, 2010 at 8:40 pm

@Ali, I did this tech survey a month ago- you don’t get charged. They send a couple of messages to you, and then you send some to them- nothing extra. It was a real easy $10.

@Kate, Do they continue to send you messages (is it called spam when it’s sent to your phone?) after the month is over? I’d be interested as long as I don’t keep getting texts after the survey is over.

Kate July 30, 2010 at 12:33 pm

@Michelle Z., No, I just got texts reminding me to do the surveys for the week- after that, it was over and they completely stopped. And I didn’t get texts from 3rd party companies either.

Where is the survey offered to you? I signed up and didn’t see any surveys offered yet. Do I need to wait? Do I have to fill out all of the profile surveys first?

abbie July 30, 2010 at 9:43 am

@Lisa G., I agree! I can’t find the surveys. How do you “look for the technology survey?”

Jessica July 30, 2010 at 5:57 am

I thought this survey site was a joke. I signed up a couple of months ago and about once a week they will send me a survey but for some odd reason I never seem to qualify anymore. Don’t waste your time!

I love this site, but the quantity of surveys will vary from month to month. Filling out the member questionnaires will get you more invites because they are better able to determine what you qualify for.

As far as where to look for surveys, they’ll be in your inbox =)

I never qualify for the surveys either. It is a complete wasts of time even clicking.
