Pincecone Research — accepting applications again!

Would you like to earn a little side money taking surveys? Pinecone Research is once again open for new registrations! But hurry, it will close up fast.

Pinecone Research is one of my favorite survey companies. They pay $3 for every survey completed and the checks come within days of completing a survey. You also often get to try full-sized products.

I also highly recommend MySurvey. I signed up with them around a year ago and have been paid by them multiple times. Unlike many survey companies, you earn points for every survey and screener you take and these points can add up quickly! Go here to sign up with MySurvey.

I love Pinecone….The surveys are easy (although sometimes long with lots of button clicking) but I love the payout…right into PayPal automatically and always promptly.

I signed up…hopefully I’ll get an e-mail saying I’m in…

Thanks for the head’s up!

Thanks for posting these! I’ve tried one survey website and it was obviously a scam. My email was overrun within one day and I even had a few phone calls trying to sell me something. I was absolutely irate. I haven’t signed up for anything like that since. MySurvey’s privacy policy is appealing but something is wrong with their ‘Join’ page. I will keep trying!

Same here- on MySurvey it says “click here to continue registration” and nothing happens when I click. Am I missing something?

Melissa July 13, 2010 at 10:43 am

@alyssa, It said “registration closed,” or something to that effect up in the address line after I clicked. Maybe they aren’t accepting new members at the moment.

@alyssa, Turn your popup blocker off and it should open a new window!

I have been working with them for the past 6 months. They are very prompt to send payment, and I often get full-sized products to sample!
$3 doesn’t seem like much, but as payment for 5-10 minutes of your time…that’s pretty good! And it all adds up!
I appreciate you recommending them, and hope more of your readers get accepted this round!

I’ve been with pinecone for a while and have been really happy with them. I especially like that you can set it up to deliver your $ to your paypal account — I use that money for small ebay purchases.

Courtney July 13, 2010 at 9:16 am

I’ve also been with Pinecone for over a year and have been very happy.

Nellie July 13, 2010 at 9:17 am

I’ve been with Pinecone for about a year. I get 1-2 surveys a week. You get paid $3 for most surveys and it goes straight into your Paypal account, usually the next day. They are one of the best survey companies out there.

Katie July 13, 2010 at 9:52 am

I second your recomendation on both of these companies. Both are great!

Michelle July 13, 2010 at 9:52 am

I have been with Pinecone for well over a year. They are absolutely the best to deal with. I get my payment promptly and they regularly send me mini surveys about what I use and don’t use so they can tailor my surveys to my family. I highly recommend them.

amybee July 13, 2010 at 10:17 am

Are the surveys clearly marked as coming from Pinecone? I was accepted a while ago. Shortly thereafter I received some surveys that didn’t say anything about Pinecone. I forget the name of the survey company on them.

Lisa July 13, 2010 at 10:32 am

@amybee,

The emails come from Karen Scott.

alyssa July 13, 2010 at 10:26 am

I pray I get accepted! I would love to earn a little $ with surverys.
Crash Crate was a joke- I wasted so much time and never got a penny! Halfway through nearly every survey I suddenly didn’t qualify. :(
Pinecone sounds better. Thank you for posting this. I will look into My Survey, as well.

Jackie July 13, 2010 at 10:48 am

How long do they usually take to let you know if you have been accepted? I applied about 2 weeks ago so I’m just wondering when I can find out!! I can’t wait!

Rachel July 13, 2010 at 12:43 pm

@Jackie, A couple application rounds ago I applied and never heard anything – after e-mailing Pinecone, I was told that not receiving any confirmation meant I didn’t fit the demographics necessary. However, this was after a month or two, so I bet you still have a good chance!

Rebecca July 13, 2010 at 12:13 pm

Sad … I really love Pinecone & was looking forward to adding another survey site (after getting seriously frustrated with Surveyhead and SurveySpot) but the registration seems to be closed for MySurvey. I guess I will have to just keep trying!

Elizabeth July 13, 2010 at 12:54 pm

I have tried about 10 times and it keeps telling me the verification words are incorrect…but they are right everytime! grr..

cwaltz July 13, 2010 at 1:07 pm

I was accepted in late February. Since that time I have earned $33 dollars(11 surveys). I usually receive my check within a week or two of completing a survey and haven’t had any problem with cashing them.

They definitely rate up there with mypoints with ease of use.

Corrine July 13, 2010 at 7:07 pm

Opinion Outpost is another great place to do online surveys. I have had no problems getting paid. My mom also does their surveys and loves it!

Just be careful if you are with them a long time… I have been with them for years (since it was $5 a survey paid via check!) and earlier this year I realized I wasn’t getting surveys anymore. I asked why , and they claimed I missed a few so they dropped me. I asked to be reinstated, and they ignored my e-mail.

shelly July 13, 2010 at 10:04 pm

I’ve applied a few different times and have never been picked :(
I’ll keep trying though!

Angie July 15, 2010 at 12:56 pm

I love Pinecone and am so happy that it is a legit company. Most of these survey sites you see are just vehicles for spam. I love seeing the emails that tell me $3 was deposited in my PayPal account-usually within 1 day.
@LB- I actually missed a couple right after our son was born. I emailed Karen Scott to let her know what was going on and she continued to keep me on the list. I am sorry to hear that you got dropped. :(
