Is the juicy juice a sale price or the regular price?

Alex and Cassie - The Thrifty Couple July 26, 2010 at 12:21 pm

Thank you so much for providing the linky and all of the match-ups – we love Target, it is one of the primary stores we do our regular shopping at!

amanda July 26, 2010 at 12:38 pm

Anyone having problems getting the Fiber plus coupons?

Tina July 26, 2010 at 1:18 pm

@amanda, yes, I wasn’t able to. After I signed up I got an error message.

Cincy Savings Game July 26, 2010 at 12:57 pm

I bought most of the deals written about in this post. Had a ton of coupons and only 1 beeped on me at the register… It was the Aquafresh Manufacturer’s coupon. Had a nice cashier that just put it through… but just a heads up for any that are going for that deal.

Lisa July 27, 2010 at 4:42 pm

The aquafresh link for $1 off didn’t work for me – it said it was unavailable. Did anyone else have that problem?

Priscilla July 29, 2010 at 12:00 am

I had the same thing happen. I wonder if it was because I printed the coupon on ‘draft’ setting, which uses the least amount of ink.

Tina July 26, 2010 at 1:20 pm

the link for the nature valley 75 cents off 2 is wrong… it’s at coupons.com not smart source. :) Just a heads up.

Becky July 26, 2010 at 1:23 pm

I am new to couponing! The Target store coupons say one per transaction. Does that mean one Target coupon per transaction or one of that specific coupon per transaction? Thanks!

Diane July 26, 2010 at 1:40 pm

@Becky, At Target you can use one Target coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon per item, no matter how many items you purchase. However, be aware of what coupons you have and if they are pushed through correctly if the machine beeps and tries to reject the manufacturer coupon. Also – don’t let the cashiers tell you that you can’t use a coupon if the item you are purchasing costs less than the coupon amount (for example – the item is 99 cents and the coupon is for $1 off). Kindly ask the cashier to manually adjust the coupon amount to the price of the item and it should go through just fine.

Hope this helps!

Tara July 26, 2010 at 7:24 pm

@Diane, went to target tonight, and got half of this list, had 4 kid’s cuisine coupons (we have 2 computers), and the woman got nasty with me over this and a few others b/c they say 1 per transaction :( Doesn’t that just mean 1 per item purchased?? This was the first time I have ever had a problem getting multiple items at target. When I told her I wanted to put the other 3 back then, she got all huffy, looked at the line growing and said “fine, I don’t care if i get in trouble!” my face was so red and hot when i left – ugh. I really dislike using coupons at target, but every once in a while, they have great matchups like these….

Diane July 26, 2010 at 7:51 pm

@Tara, As far as the one item per transaction goes, it all just depends on your cashier. Some of them will go ahead and let you use the coupon and some of them won’t. Sounds like you had someone who wasn’t in the greatest of moods tonight! My husband and I went tonight and bought several things, using a Target coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon for every item purchased and our cashier was very friendly and wasn’t bothered in the least – not to rub it in, but just trying to show that sometimes the employee can make all the difference! Sorry you had such a rough experience.

becomingfrugal July 27, 2010 at 12:09 pm

@Tara, wow, sorry to hear that! I’ve had problems using coupons at target as well. Not as bad as your experience. I was told once by a target cashier that I could only use 2 coupons total per transaction, which made no sense to me, and I know she was wrong, but I didn’t want to argue I just bought my two items and left. I just try to avoid deals there usually now. I would probably call and complain to the manager, you don’t even have to give her name if you don’t want but explain that you were just trying to use coupons and when she said you couldn’t you didn’t want the items she was upset. I am hoping that if more couponers complain about bad treatment like this, the store might train cashiers to treat us better. I complained to kmart once when the cashier couldn’t/wouldn’t do any of the double coupon days deals, and he asked me to return and had a cashier lined up just for me that he promised would take care of me. That made me feel better, lol

Laura July 26, 2010 at 1:39 pm

Maybe I’m missing something with the Chef Boyardee deal… but if you are buying 4 @ $0.80 each ($3.20 total) $2.50 off in coupons won’t make all of them free, just really cheap — $0.17/ea.

Crystal July 26, 2010 at 1:47 pm

If your store allows you to use more than one of the same Target coupon per transaction, they could be free plus possible overage if you used four Target coupons. Or, you can just buy 1 and use 1 Target coupon and it would be free.

Andrea July 27, 2010 at 12:08 pm

@Crystal,

Thanks for the encouragement! Also, thanks for answering so promptly. I was able to get the fiber one coupons late last night. I went into Target and saved $36.02, the cashier just scanned them all with no issues! Yay, that was great for my first time. I even found a peel off coupon to stack with something else I was going to buy, I left there in a great mood!

Thanks for all you do!

Crystal July 27, 2010 at 12:10 pm

You’re welcome!

Lisa July 27, 2010 at 4:45 pm

@Laura, I used the $1 off coupons and bought cans of chef boyardee spaghetti that was 0.99 each and that worked good for me. :)

emma July 26, 2010 at 1:50 pm

i didnt find the bagel bites at my store. The hunts pudding coupon says its for 1 12pack or 3 4 packs and if you dont have the all you coupon it is cheaper to buy the 12 pack they are 2.54 so just 1.54 a/c= .51/.52 per 4 whereas the .95×3= 1.85 for 12 or .61 per 4. the hanover nibblers are only 2.29 so only .29 after target coupon and man. coupon.

Andrea July 26, 2010 at 2:03 pm

I am also having problems with the Fiber plus coupons. Also, on the Juicy Juice and Chef Boyardee, are you supposed to use more than one Target coupon to get the deal. If not the numbers don’t add up, and it doesn’t look like you can use multiple of the same Target coupon, can you?

Thanks for any help, trying to get really good at this here :)

Crystal July 26, 2010 at 2:08 pm

Hmm, the Fiber Plus coupons are working just fine for me. Sorry for the issues!

Since they are Target coupons, my rule of thumb is that it is up to the discretion of your store. Some stores accept more than one, others don’t. However, if your store doesn’t, you can still get free Chef Boyardee if you just buy one and use one Target coupon. Or, Juicy Juicy packs for $1.04 if you just buy one and use one Target coupon.

Kara July 26, 2010 at 2:03 pm

with the kashi deal, can you use the $1/3 and the BOGOFree Target coupons? One won’t beep? Just curious if anyone can validate this deal.

Crystal July 26, 2010 at 2:09 pm

Yes, you should be able to use both coupons, since you’re buying four boxes.

Wendy July 26, 2010 at 2:15 pm

Did I miss the BIC coupon? I’m only seeing $1 pens when you purchase 2 stationary items. Would love to get those for B2S.

Tara July 26, 2010 at 7:28 pm

@Wendy, The pens worked for me – it’s the $1 off a bic stationary item, and it worked on the blue 10pk bic crystal easy glide pack – they were only 99cents at my store even though i think they were marked higher. The black ones were clearly labeled 99cents though, but i gave the blue a shot. The coupon didn’t seem like it was right, but it was. and i don’t think it’s under school supplies on the website, it’s under household i believe.

Danielle B July 26, 2010 at 2:37 pm

Wendy – When you get on the Target coupon site, select “Show All” coupons and it will appear.

Danielle B July 26, 2010 at 2:39 pm

Just got back from a rockin’ Target trip!!
1 bag of marshmallows, 2 boxes of Bagel Bites, 4 boxes of Kashi bars, 2 AquaFresh toothpastes, 1 package of cheese slices, 2 packages of Bic pens, and 4 Chef boyardee meals for a grand total of $9.47!!

Chris July 26, 2010 at 2:54 pm

can not seem to find the Hunts or Kid Cuisine coupons in the June All You?

Kim July 26, 2010 at 3:51 pm

@Chris, Me neither! I thought I was going crazy!

chisty July 26, 2010 at 3:52 pm

me either. I looked in the july issue too, not there!

Chris July 26, 2010 at 5:02 pm

@Chris, they are on the insert in the middle (by the centerfold calender)

Jen Freeman July 26, 2010 at 5:41 pm

@Chris, ” the centerfold calander” sounds so dirty! ;-)

Jenn July 26, 2010 at 6:00 pm

@Chris,

I have gone page by page and still can’t seem to find an insert with kid cuisine Q. Can someone give a page number it is next to? Any help would be appreciated.

Amber July 26, 2010 at 6:32 pm

@Chris, Heads up guys- If you have an All You subscription, you dont have half the coupons every month. They jip the subscribers because my neighbor buys hers at the store (yes she pays more) and it has about 2x as many coupons. Including a card stock type center fold out with coupons.

melissa July 26, 2010 at 3:33 pm

The Bic target coupon says $1 off of any 2…also the Sobe Water withe the BOGO coupon, buy 2 and then use 50 cents off of the other one, makes it 50 cents.

Rae July 28, 2010 at 8:04 pm

@melissa, Last week I got the $1/2 Bic Target coupon but this week the $1/1 was available :) And the Sobe is free when you use bogo man. coupon and 2 $.50/1 Target coupons.

Mandie July 26, 2010 at 4:37 pm

Ok, so modified for my area, Nature Valley bars coupons were .50/1, making them .89 each.

No q for the water in my insert.

Fiber Plus bars link isn’t working – I tried to register, but got server errors on several occasions.

No Bagel Bites qs in my inserts.

All You magazine qs are the ConAgra insert, not listed in the index. There is also a $1/4 Hunts Pudding qs in the same insert in the August All You. Not as good, but if you really need these, not bad.

Chris July 26, 2010 at 5:01 pm

@Mandie, Thanks for the update on the Kid Cuisine and Hunts coupons – found them!

Jenn July 26, 2010 at 6:02 pm

@Chris,

Please share a page number the insert is near. For some reason I still can’t seem to locate the Q in ALL YOU.

Jenn July 26, 2010 at 4:37 pm

Thanks for the great deals! My target now automatically adjusts down the coupons to match the price of the item….there was no hassling over the item not costing more then the coupon!

Candice July 26, 2010 at 4:40 pm

Epic!! The Juicy Juice weren’t on sale so I skipped them and the Bagel Bites were 2.54 and not 2.24, but that’s still awesome so I went for it:

2 BIC Pen packs: Free
2 Sobe Life waters: Free (I saw ppl paying for these!!! *snicker* I did tell them about the deal though)
2 Kids Cuisines: 0.75×2=1.50
Bagel Bites: 0.54
Kids Aquafresh:0.12

Total: 2.18 (w00t!!) Thanks for the totally fab deals!!!!!!

Rory July 26, 2010 at 6:26 pm

Thank you so much for posting this!!!! I got all but one thing that I wanted!!!

4 boxes of Kashi bars
8 Chefboyardee
4 Bagel Bites
1 2L Doctor Pepper
6 Sobe
2 12pk Kraft Cheese sticks
1 7pk Womens Champion socks
4 Juicy Juice 8 packs
1 Kids Aquafresh

Total = $63.16
Saved = $47.19
Spent = $15.73

Rory July 26, 2010 at 6:27 pm

@Rory, They were all sold out of the Fiberplus bars!!!

The Prudent Homemaker July 26, 2010 at 6:52 pm

BE CAREFUL on the Chef Boyardee deal. My Target automatically adjusted down the Target coupons to the price of the item (so .80 off each instead of $1.00 off). I handed over the manufacturer’s coupon first, for $1.50 off four. THAT coupon adjusted down to .80, and the cashier, while very nice on my other items and good about everything else (even doing a price check for me), said he couldn’t do anything about that coupon, so I ended up just using the Target coupons instead and just getting 4 ravioli cups.

I didn’t have any trouble using the BIC coupons; the pens were not in school supplies (just with the regular pens). They automatically adjusted down.

Also, if anyone got the Target mailer (mine came on Saturday), there was another BIC pen coupon in there for $1 off, and $1 off a Crayola purchase of $2.00 or more. Given the way the other coupons adjusted down, I would NOT use it on crayons, because I think it would adjust down to .25. You can use it anything over $1, though (I love their washable water colors, which is what I got).

The Wonka bars are $2.29 at my Target, so they weren’t free. However, the coupons are good for a long time, so I will try another Target in town that tends to be less money. My Target is typically higher on most items (often as much as .70!) than the other Target and than what you list.

Also, if you’re buying scissors and rulers, both are cheaper at Target than Walmart (rulers are .27 vs .50 at Walmart; scissors are .79 for one (blunt tip) or $2.49 for a 2 pack vs. $1.50 a pair at Walmart). Glue sticks in the 6 pack are $1.00 each at Target; that’s better than the .25 at Walmart for a 2-pack.

Sarah July 26, 2010 at 7:13 pm

Our Target didn’t have most of the items…not a very big food section sadly, so I only ended up getting a pack of pens, 4 ravioli cups, and some SOBE. And I didn’t notice the mess up with the Chef Boyardee $1.50 off 4 not being applied properly until I got home, and Target is 30 minutes away…so oh well. A little disappointing trip for me. Did get a little people Animalville playset for 50% off, though ($12.49). LOTS of toy clearance!

Kara July 26, 2010 at 7:35 pm

Can’t find the juicy juice coupon, it only prints out a $2 off 4 for me:) How do I get this one? I clicked on the link.

Thanks !

Mandie July 26, 2010 at 8:15 pm

@Kara, I see it under this link: http://www.juicyjuice.com/Special-Offers/Default.aspx on the bottom right corner of the screen – that’s the $1/2.

You can try this, but no guarantees, okay? http://www.juicyjuice.com/Coupon/Default.aspx?CouponId=BFFA578B-EA84-437E-8DC3-EE1BC0B02B02

Kara July 26, 2010 at 9:40 pm

@Mandie, Thank you for taking the time to post this, unfortunately I don’t think I can get it for some reason! There is nothing on the bottom right of any screen on all of their pages? I know it is not under the special savings, very weird. Thanks though, maybe next time!

Mandie July 26, 2010 at 8:11 pm

Hey guys – just got back from my trip, and found a couponing friend there, too! Thanks for letting me meet such cool people, MSM! If it wasn’t for her, I’d still be there looking for things!

Kara – the JJ is hiding – it’s near the bottom, and unmarked as special savings, or something. No indication that it’s a $2/4.

I didn’t get the Bagel Bites, even after I printed the q, because only the 40-count was available. I couldn’t use the $1.50/4 ConAgra, either, since all the sale ChefBs were gone. I just did like the rest of you and bought two free Raviolis.

All my qs adjusted down automatically, which was cool.

2 Wonka
2 Snyder’s
2 Nature’s Valley
4 Kashi
4 Juicy Juice
2 ChefB Ravioli
2 Kid Cuisine
2 SoBe
2 Aqua Fresh
2 BIC
3 4-pack Hunts Pudding

Reusable bag credit: .10
Subtotal: 51.85
Tax: .86
Total OOP: 14.00!! Woo hoo! 73% savings! Working on a $15 budget, that was about as good as it gets!

Emily July 27, 2010 at 1:09 am

I had a problem with the boyardee coupon, too. It adjusted down from the 1.50 to .87 (the price of one can). The cashier fixed it for me (very nice).
I got:
16 cans beefaroni
6 Sobe
4 Kashi bars
4 Nature Valley bars
4 pkgs Juicy Juice
4 pkgs pens
4 Aquafresh toothpaste
4 Wonka bars (marked at 2.39)
4 Bagel Bites
All for just under $13!!!!!! My best deal yet!

Holly July 27, 2010 at 10:32 am

Okay, it’s been a LONG time since I’ve done serious couponing at Target. Please remind me…do I give MQs first, then TQs? Thanks in advance!

Holly

Jessica July 27, 2010 at 12:37 pm

As of yesterday my Target now only accepts 3 printed (ANY printed not just Target) coupons per transaction!!! I had a cart full of items and and envelope full of coupons. I could only buy four items out of the 18 that I had planned to purchase. Two different cashiers told me that it was a new policy as of yesterday. Does any one else have this problem at their store? Target is one of my favorite places to get deals :(

Crystal July 27, 2010 at 1:58 pm

That stinks. :( You might call Target corporate about it.

Jen July 30, 2010 at 12:51 pm

@Jessica,If you don’t mind sharing, what state? I have 2 targets only 2 miles from eachother. One takes as many coupons as you want to give them, always get the overages and they are SO nice! The second one takes 2 coupons per day and act like I am a criminal trying to use more.

Lisa July 27, 2010 at 4:53 pm

Was anyone else not able to print the aquafresh $1 off coupon on the link listed above? I was quite bummed about that.

Jen Freeman July 30, 2010 at 12:49 pm

@Lisa, I printed one several days ago. I tried to go back and print a second one and they were all gone. I do find that I have to be very ontop of the printables and get the very beginning of the sale or the printables are gone!

Celena July 27, 2010 at 7:15 pm

The Juicy Juice coupon from the site says it’s for 6 – 10 oz bottles, whereas the Target coupon is for an 8 pack of juice boxes… ??

Kelly July 28, 2010 at 9:09 am

I went to Target yesterday. I scored a lot of great deals! Thanks so much. I wanted to praise my cashier. She was so wonderful, patient and kind. She even counted my coupons to make sure she didn’t miss any. What a sweet treat to have a wonderful cashier.

Kristen July 29, 2010 at 11:50 am

Just went, wanted to say thanks to Crystal! I got:

4 SOBE
1 Gallon Milk
4 Kraft Mac Cheese
1 Rice Roni
2 Wonka Chocolate Bars
4 cans of Chef Boy R Dee Ravioli
1 Bag Oreos treats
2 Bic pens
2 bags Snyder Pretzels
1 Pantene Conditioner*
2 Skinny Cow Ice Cream Cups
2 Bagel Bites 9 count
2 Eggos Homestyle

My total = $10.99 (saved $32.22)

*A note about the conditioner – it was only $.50 (use target $1 off + manufacturers $2 off from I believe the last RedPlum?)

Crystal July 29, 2010 at 11:54 am

Way to go!!!

Jen July 30, 2010 at 12:53 pm

.24 Snyder Pretzel rods. $2.24, use $1 target and $1 MFQ

The rods were a better deal for me!
