Famous Footwear has a really hot coupon available for $10 off any purchase of $10 or more.
To get your coupon, you need to click on the “Like” button on the Famous Footwear Facebook page and use the coupon by Monday, July 12, 2010.
Originally, you could use the coupon online. Now they’ve changed it so you can only use it in-store. However, I’m pretty confident you could find something for free or almost-free on clearance. If you don’t need shoes, you could use this to purchase socks!

Hey Crystal, this coupon code is not valid on sale items
I tried it and it said “One or more discounts no longer apply.”
So the $9.99 pair of sandals I chose that was originally $19.99 was still $9.99 after the coupon code.
Your total must be $10 for the discount to apply. It has been confirmed to work on discounted items.
Actually it looks like it does work with sale items, just not the ones that would make it free…

yay!!!!! it worked!!! I think anyone getting free shoes through the website will be the same ones, since they only have 2 shoes for $10, blue or pink patterns. I got pink, because I’m a size 6, but I really wanted the blue!!! oh, so FUN…thanks for the heads up!!!!
Nevermind, I got it to work. Even though it said I had applied the code before, I had to apply it again to get it to work (after my order totalled over $10). Changed my mind and got the cute polka-dot flip-flops and one green bag. Thanks so much!

It told me $4.50 for shipping to, but just continue to billing and you’ll see it’s free shipping. I paid $1.06 shipped for a pair of slippers and a reusable bag!

I’m having a problem =( I picked out a super cute pair of shoes for my daughter (on sale for $19.99) and I can’t get the code to take the $10 off. I’ve tried it at the beginning of checkout and at the end right before the order is placed.

The code was apparently hacked and they had to disable it for the time being. This was just posted by Famous Footwear on their Facebook page a few minutes ago. They say that it will take until tomorrow to straighten it out, but they will put up some type of new offer to make up for it.
Bummer! Hope they extend the offer for a couple of days after they fix it – this is great to get socks for my daughter’s new school year!
Grrrr… what are the odds they’ll still have the cute pair of shoes I wanted today (in my size) once they fix this?

The wordings on this coupons says that you can use them at the store also & not just online. I might just go to the famous footwear store in my block.

The coupons is now available for in-store purchases only. That’s what happens when people abuse a deal. I really can’t blame them.

Apparently it’s been changed and the coupon is now for ‘in-store’ only. They say on their Facebook page to check back on Monday. They will do something for people that want to order online.

i just went to the store where they’re having a buy 1, get one 1/2 off, including clearance. i got a pair of $35 toddler sketchers for my daughter, a pair of $50 sketchers for myself and 6 pairs of puma socks (normally $16) for…….53 cents!!!! she said i was the deal of the day. a-mazing!

Yes! Everything was marked down plus my store has a buy one, get one half of sale on everything in the store (except those sketcher healthy shoe things), so I shopped the clearance section. The shoes were marked down to $5 each, and I got two pairs of socks that were marked down to $2 each. I paid $5 for the first pair of shoes, $2.50 for the second, $2 for the first set of socks, and $1 for the second set of socks. I calculated my savings by the original retail price.
where do I get the promo code to make the online purchase?? I see the printable coupon to use in store, but not the online code.

They said on the site that anyone that used the code last night and was able to place an order with it would be proccessed.
My daughter and I went to Famous Footwear this evening, each with a coupon and we each walked out with a pair of shoes off the clearance rack that were marked $10. They were completely free! I expected to at least pay the sales tax but the lady was very nice and said we owed nothing! Sure enough, the receipts had a total of $o.oo!

If you got to retailmenot.com, there are some working codes for $10 off a $50 order. I know most of you won’t want to pay $50, but I thought I’d mention the codes are working. Although, you do still have to pay the $4.50 shipping charge.
I went to Famous Footwear today and my husband and I each used one. Walked out with sneakers for our son a pack of socks and a reusable bag for 11.00 bucks total. They were also very nice about it!!

How can you complain about something totally free? It is so disappointing to hear people grumble when something goes wrong. I printed off my coupon, drove to the store and was able to use it just fine. On Facebook FF has been very aplogetic about the issue and promises to post a new deal soon. Considering everyone wants to use it for something $10 (to make it totally FREE) then I think that we should be patient with them and give them the benefit of the doubt that they aren’t trying to manipulate the situation. Just my two cents.

@Erin, I agree! It’s not like Kmart/Sears where they have been there/done that on the whole coupon “mistake” over and over again. I think that FF didn’t think it through but regret it and don’t seem like they will have it happen again. I for one will continue to shop there (when there is a good sale/coupons of course

@Dee, I understand that. But sometimes there are good deals that we just miss out on because of things that the store can’t control. I think that the coupon was incredibly generous and I choose to be thankful for what they DID offer instead of what they didn’t.

I went yesterday and used it on superman and spiderman socks for my son (I have no idea how he goes through so many stinkin’ socks) before they changed it again. But my sister got a pair of sneakers completely free because they were on clearance for exactly $10. In the kids clearance, I saw a bunch of little girls shoes on clearance for $5 or $10 but they only had like 2 that price that were boys (and they were too small, too big I could have worked with but not too small).
Okay I printed out the 10 dollar coupon and I also had a 5 dollar rewards coupon. I was able to use both and got a 29 dollar sale pair of running shoes for 15.74!

We used the coupon at our local store. My oldest daughter had her own coupon and “bought” a pair of cute canvas slides that were on clearance for $10, so her total was 0. I purchased a pair of Roxy flip flops for my other daughter that were on sale for 9.99 and then added 4 pairs of nice winter tights for a total of 3.17.
