I don’t feel comfortable providing a credit card when the charge is $0.

do these ebooks work on the nook?

@Roxie, Yes, and since they are through B&N, they will show up on your nook you have registered to your account.

This is great – and you can download as many as you want of the free ones. Great for homeschoolers as many of these make excellet read-alouds!

I can’t guarantee anything, but I was not asked for a credit card at all. I have previously downloaded the ereader onto my computer and I have a B&N account. I just clicked the button under the free book I wanted and was told “Thank you for purchasing.” I was then able to hit “Synchronize” on the ereader and :pop: the books showed up.
