Free $10 gift card from Viewpoints when you write 10 one-paragraph reviews

by Crystal on July 29, 2010

Write 10 Home and Garden reviews for Viewpoints.com by July 31, 2010 and you’ll get a gift card to the merchant you select. Reviews must be at least one paragraph long (900 characters).

I know many people who have written for Viewpoints before and received their gift cards so this is a legitimate offer.

I have done it twice and received the gift card both times. Be sure to read the fine print as it does have some specific guidelines. I know in the past you couldn’t do it if you became a member of Viewpoints through other programs such as InboxDollars, SendEarnings, etc. I’m having trouble finding the official rules page but just a word of caution.

I wrote the ten reviews but have no idea how to redeem my gift card now.

@Ali,

it takes them a few weeks they’ll send you an email so just make sure your ten fit the guidelines.

I’m about to 10 too (have one more I think) and don’t know about the gift card either… If you all figure it out, let me know!

I have received Target gift cards from them at least twice before, for writing reviews. Make sure you have entered your address in your profile for them to send it to you! I can’t remember how long it took for the gift cards to arrive, or if they sent any notification that I qualified, but I know it is legit! I’m a SAHM so it’s free money for my time, and I can review anything I own! And make sure your reviews meet that 900 characters to qualify!

Combine this with MyPoints (register with Viewpoints through their website) and you can get 500 points!

@Corrie, You can’t get the giftcard by doing that, it says so under their Official Rules page. :( Dang it!

Do you have to click on that particular graphic for this deal? I’m clicking on the “http://www.viewpoints.com/write” link, but I don’t see that graphic anywhere.

That was exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks!

Hey guys, just to let you know, the fineprint is kinda pickey…I looked at the official rules and I just realized I wasted so much time. I don’t think I’ll continue. Too much work.
Here’s an excerpt from the Official Rules page:

“If you are currently participating in an incented program with a partner (examples: Inbox Dollars, Send Earnings, Mypoints) or a charity program you are ineligible for an iCard gift card because you cannot receive double incentives for the same reviews.

Your reviews must be submitted on a product in this category: Home and Garden.

Reviews in the Baby, Beauty, Computers, Electronics, Health, Auto, Books & Magazines, Clothing, Food/Drink, Local, Music & Arts, Movies, Office, Pets, Travel, Toys, Miscellaneous and Websites categories are ineligible for payment under this Promotion.”

I just wrote five reviews, it took me a long time, and then I found out that none of them count towards the gift card. Hope this info helps everyone out!!
