Are these located in the regular meat section by the other beef?

Allison July 16, 2010 at 1:51 pm

@Tovah, Yes, they’re right there with the other steaks and such. I got some a while back…but they’re still in my freezer. I’m not sure what to do with them. =)

yay! Deals & Dishes!

That’s where I found it at my local Walmart. The Bacon Wrapped Fillets for $3.28 look just like the picture.

I got these coupons the last time they were available and they were a good deal, but unfortunately, the steaks weren’t really that great. They definitely were not what I was expecting of a fillet.

Lana July 17, 2010 at 9:17 am

@Jessica, I cooked them and they were so terrible that we threw them out. We are not picky eaters but we could not eat these. The flat-iron steaks are better but have an odd flavor from the marinade. I won’t waste even 28 cents on them again.

BE VERY CAREFUL if you are signing up for this for the first time – it gives you an option to print off several coupons, but for me it only printed two and then told me I was “over the household limit”. I didn’t get the $3/1 coupon I was really hoping to use :-( I suggest printing off the high-value coupon first, then try the others if it will let you!

Does anyone know if Walmart accepts these coupons? Everytime I use these coupons they tell me they don’t accept it unless there is a Versign logo on it.

Andrea July 16, 2010 at 10:39 pm

They sent me a survey that allowed me to print the $3.00 off coupon again after completing.

These things are YUK! – even if they are almost free.

Well, they can’t be too bad…they’ve been sold at my local Walmart for years…

We spent a little extra a purchased the fillet mingon(sp) and the were decent. I agree that the less expensive steaks are not that great but I think you could figure out something to do with them.

Are these only at Super Walmarts that has fruit and a meat department? Ours is a normal Walmart (or less.. it actually seems small lol).

There are both steak and filet. I got the steak as to only spend the .68 My husband at both of them. He said they were not the GREATEST steaks he’s had but they were not the worst either. I tried a bite.. and it was not bad as other posts are leading on to be. I bought the non marinade steak placed in oven as directed on the instruction. After my husband finished i told him i paid .68 for them he said 1 I said no both.. He said those steaks tasted even better…lol

My walmart doesn’t sell this brand- does anyone know another store that might carry them?
