Thanks again for the linky!
Be on the look out for $0.55 off peelies on the Shout for the buy $10 get $5 for the glade and household cleaning products deal. I was able to get 3 bottles with peelies!
Dawn Hand Renewal dish soap is on sale for $.97. Use the $1.00/1 coupon from the Home Made Simple book to get get it free. I bought 4 today and had no problem with using the coupons on them!
**FYI** The DOVE deodorant deal would not work. My CVS has the original older dove deodorants @ the 2 for $5 but my coupons that printed are for the newer dove’s which are priced around $3.49 and not on sale this week. Did anyone else get the deal?
@Autumn, YES!! i was very disappointed in this as well. none of these coupons were for the ones on sale.
I did this deal tonight and used 4 $1.50 and 2 $1 (they were from a week or so ago). Both these coupons are for any dove.
I did this deal this week at CVS with the same coupons and got them all for .16 cents each. Worked fine for me! All the “older” Dove deodorants.
Does anyone know if I can do this same transaction this week and still earn the ECB’s if I did it the previous week? Thank you!
I bought a Gillette ProGlide razor on my 1st transaction yesterday. The receipt did not say “offer limit reached” even though it was advertised as limit 1, so I bought another one and did the Windex deal a 2nd time with the $3/$15 CRT that printed out. I got the eb again for the razor, and then it said “offer limit reached”. So last night at least, it was offer limit 2.
I did the Gillette Razor twice this week also.. Limit is 2 not 1
At my CVS they had Gillette Fusion Razors on clearance for $5 and the $4 coupon from Sunday’s paper brings it down to the $1. It is a good deal for someone that doesn’t want to deal with Extrabucks or needs a lot of razors.
I did the same! It was for a manual Gillette Gamer. I paid less tax too because the razor was cheaper to begin with.
Since I have another $4 Q, I can still get the ECB deal too, that means 2 razors instead of just 1. (But I might use it at Target instead on the razors on clearance.)
The John Freida $5 off 2 coupon in my 5/2 SS expired on 6/5.
Dove Chocolate only $0.50!
Heads up everyone, I had a $2 off Dove print from the scanner. Dove is on sale $2.50 this week so only $0.50 after this coupon! Plus I’ve been getting B1G1 Godiva Gems, up to $4.99!
I hope you all get it too!
I linked up a short video I made for this week’s deals: 3 transactions, $4.97 OOP, plus get $5 ECBs for next purchase. I think I’m #43.
Hope this will help newbies who are visual learners. You can check it out here too: http://frugalforyou.blogspot.com/2010/06/cvs-deals-june-6-12.html
When I did the 3 cereals, I picked two boxes of Mini Wheats. I had a coupon for $1/2 Mini Wheats AND a coupon for $1/2 Kellogs. I was able to use both, so I got $2 off and the ECBs.
We had a nice CVS trip this week:
3 boxes of Miniwheats–3/$10 with $5 ECB–used $1/2 coupon + 5 ECB that I already had
3 bags of dried apricots, on sale 3/$5
2 boxes of Tampax Pearl Tampons–on sale for $2.97, used 2 $2/1 coupons
1 pack of Always pads–had a FREE coupon from a sample pack from beinggirl.com
Used a printed coupon for $4 off purchase of $20 or more (I hadn’t planned on using this–my 2-year-old daughter dropped it in our shopping bag when I wasn’t looking, and the cashier assumed I wanted to use it. I guess I’m raising a little frugal shopper!)
I ended up spending $7.02 OOP for everything, and I got $5 ECB from the cereal and $1 ECB from my green bag tag. Woohoo!
I love to see what others got–helps to learn how to do it to the best of our advantage. I am working on challenging myself to keep it under $1, uses up extra bucks quickly though. I have done well over the past few weeks with that goal. $65 this week for under $1.
