Wow! I don’t ever recall there being such a plethora of deals and freebies for Mother’s Day. Here’s a list of some of the best of them:

Dine at Champps on Mother’s Day weekend, May 8th-9th, using this coupon and your meal will be free (purchase of an entree required).

But wait, there’s more! Every mom who dines will receive a gift card worth $165 ($15 each month for a year)!

Want to really maximize your savings? Use this gift card on their half-priced burger nights (Sunday and Monday) and you’ll make that $15 go quite far each month!  (Thanks, SpringsBargains!)

Once again, Let’s Dish meal preparation stores will be offering a free meal for new moms through May 29, 2010.

Those moms who have had a baby or adopted a child in the last year (since Mother’s Day 2009) are eligible to receive this. Email proof of birth/adoption date to newmoms@letsdish.net and they’ll give you a personalized promo code for your free meal and instructions on how to redeem it.

Go here to find a location near you. You can read more information about this here. (Thanks, FrugalFriends!)

From May 9-15, 2010, moms everywhere can treat themselves to a free massage from HydroMassage. All you need to do is schedule an appointment and take this coupon (bottom of page) with you.

Many Cold Stone Creamery stores will be giving away a free ‘Creation” sundae to moms on Mother’s Day. I would recommend calling your local store ahead of time to find out if they are participating in this promotion.

TCBY is treating moms and grandmas to free fozen yogurt in a cup or cone on Mother’s Days. Call your local store first to make sure they’re participating. (Thanks, ThriftyNorthwestMom!)

Tasti D Lite is offering a free cup or cone of its soft-serve frozen dessert on Sunday, May 9, 2010. Choose from more than 100 flavors.

I received a press release about this, but I’m not seeing it mentioned on their website, so I’d recommend call your store to verify they are participating in this promotion.

Custom-make your own Mother’s Day card here and send not only the card but a coupon for a free Pancake Puppies Sundae at Denny’s. More details here. (Thanks, Nickole!)

American Tap Room is offering all moms a free Brunch entree from May 8-9, 2010 until 3 pm. A reservation must be made before May 8 to be eligible. Go here for more information. (Thanks, FrugalFriends!)

Use the printable coupon here to get a free meal at Smokey Bones for mom with the purchase of another entree on May 9, 2010. (Thanks, MySweetSavings!)

All mothers who eat at any Fleming’s location on May 9 will receive a free $25 gift card to use on a future visit. There will be a special brunch from 11:30am – 3:00pm, so be sure to make a reservation.

Any mom who dines at Roy’s from May 7-9, 2010 will go home with a $20 bonus card. See more details here.

IKEA is treating moms to a free breakfast on Sunday, May 9, 2010. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and a cup of coffee. Call your store ahead of time to see if it is participating. See more information here.

From May 8-9, 2010, Austin Grill is offering a free entree for moms. Click here for more information. (Thanks, FrugalFriends!)

In honor of Mother’s Day, Jo-Ann Fabric stores will be hosting a free Make-It Take-It event on Saturday, May 8, 2010, from 1-3 pm. Thanks for the list of deals. I think all these freebies are a sign of the poor economy.

Frisch’s (aka Big Boy in OH, KY and IN)) restaurants give moms a special card when dining on Mother’s Day for a free meal (about 5 to choose from) at a later time. Usually good the day after mother’s day for about 30 days (doesnt overlap with father’s day).
I called today and they are doing it again. We have made this an annual event for over 10 yrs !

Outback Steak House is not doing the giftcard offer this year. I tried to find it on their website and ended up finding the same email ad that you did. I noticed in the web address that it said 2009 so I called our Outback in Lincoln, Ne to verify. He said they are not running that promo this year at our location and didn’t believe it is running anywhere else either. Just wanted to let you knwo in case your followers go to Outback and are disappointed.

@Chickadee, Thanks so much for that information! I deleted that deal from the post.

I just wanted to clarify that the Champs deal is for a free meal up to $15 with a minimum purchase of $25 not a $15 giftcard :)

Free rita’s ice!

Thanks for the info! We went to Chammps and all they had was buffet. I asked if moms ate free (like the sign in the door said) and they said yes! So, I got an $18.99 buffet for free – the kids were $8.99 each and my husband was full price ($18.99). It was a little spendy – but it was a REALLY good brunch AND I got the $165 gift card. Planning on going on Mondays once a month for 1/2 price burger night. All four of us should be able to eat for around $25 (if only two of us get drinks – and $25 is the total you need to get the $15 off) – so then we will pay a little over $10 total each time! I would not have known about this if it weren’t for Money Saving Mom – thanks so much!
