Thank you so much for the linkies, they are very helpful!
Dian
Thanks for the linky and match ups.
I tried to print the Bayer Aspirin coupons (both in ff and ie) and they don’t work. Do you know of any other place to get this coupon? I didn’t see it my smart source either (TX).
thanks,
Rachel (Cha Ching Queen)
Everyone is welcome to link up their CVS Deals on Cha Ching Queen as well
http://www.chachingqueen.com/search/label/cvs
So unfortunately the Self-Check monitor scenario will not work. The ’small print’ says that no additional discounts may be applied =(.
There should also be a deal for 10-count Claritin (exluding -D) if I’ve got this right:
Start $9.99
Get $3 EB back
CVS printable for $2 off (same link as the CVS U Kotex)
Recent manufacturers coupon for $2 off.
So in the end $2.99… cheap for Claritin, and a neccesity for some this time of year.
What is up with trying to print off the Right Guard/ Dry Idea coupon?? Any words of advise?
@Alison,
Search for Right Guard on FB and you can print a $1.50 off one coupon. I printed one for my account and one for my husbands.
I’d just like to comment that I was all set to do the Crest mouthwash deal using the 75-cent coupon from the last P&G insert, but the coupon says something about minimum size (more than 850ml?) and the bottles on sale in the store for $3.50 are much smaller (like 250ml). So the coupon doesn’t apply, does it? I still got two bottles basically for free, getting $7ECB back, but I don’t think this is a moneymaker.
my coupon said that, too…but they still took it. no questions.
@leah, I believe this post was referring to the .75/toothpaste coupon some people got. There’s a $1/2 toothpaste for those that didn’t that can still be used here to earn $1 back which is great still. That’s what I personally used.
I might’ve not been sure but another site listed specifically that it was for toothpaste which is how I was queued. Anyway, I don’t think MSM would support coupon fraud – the store may not get refunded and abuse of coupons damages the whole community. While it seems easy to give a coupon for a different size, variety or even item then you got, it’s considered coupon fraud and everyone gets hurt. I’m just informing you in case you weren’t aware. Anyway, try the $1/2 coupon if you have it!
wow, yes. thank you for the info…i definitely don’t want to commit ‘coupon fraud’ i didn’t even know there was such a thing! i guess i just always thought that if the scanner took it fine, it was acceptable. i will be much more careful from now on!
@leah,
They took mine too, no beeps or anything. I hadn’t even thought to look at the size on it.
@fairy dust, Yes, it wasn’t very clear in the post, but based on the coupons I got (and the ones you got, it seems) the moneymaking deal is for the toothpaste only. The $.75 coupon for the toothpaste does work, but that info doesn’t help you much at this point. Sorry.
@Becky in KY, Thanks, Becky
It’s not a problem – I can’t stand the taste of the Crest pro toothpaste, so it didn’t even occur to me to look at the toothpaste coupon. LOL! I’m just happy to get free mouthwash that DH likes!
Thanks for the linky Link on my site as well
Bayer 24 ct 325 mg regular aspirin is also $1, free after coupon. The Right Guard was $2.99 at my CVS, not $2.49.
How can you use both $1 coupons at CVS? I know they are basically the same, but one says CVS on it – in Green Bay, they only allowed me to use one of the 2 coupons.
@Jean, That’s wierd. I’m pretty sure sites have CVS coupon policies on them but you can’t really use that to prove it as I don’t think they have an official corporate policy. I suppose if the manager says no, it’s not worth your time fighting it or causing a scene.
In general though, manufacturer coupons say “manufacturer’s coupon” on them and redeeming instructions while store ones don’t give those instructions and tend to say “store coupon” or “[store-i.e. CVS] coupon” on them. It’s wierd he didn’t allow it, perhaps coupon use is rare in your area, but stores usually allow it. The register may beep because of more coupons then items, but they usually know that you can combine them. Better luck next time. =/
Thanks for the deals! In AZ the right guard is 2.69
Anybody else not get the Schick coupon this week?? Argh! I think I am going to cry!! I got all of my transactions ready and then went to gather my coupons (next time I’ll be doing this first!) and no Schick coupon in my paper.
Hi, Can I use the BOGO RP coupon for covergirl face products for the BOGO covergirl lip deal at CVS this week? Thank you!
Just a heads up: the free shampoo coupon is back! Remember the $1 off any CVS hair care item coupon from the magic red coupon scanner? The one you can use to get that suave-look-alike shampoo? Well, it’s back. It printed yesterday and today for me. Hope everyone else gets it too. Good for shelter donations.
Great post, I forgot about the Right Guard yesterday when I went.
When I click on the CVS printable link, those coupons don’t show up as choices. Do you know why? And when they print they say manufacturers coupon….you can’t use 2 manu. coupons on 1 item can you??
@Rena,
Not all of the coupons on that link are CVS specific, only those with the CVS logo on it. The ones with the logo printed as a “Store Coupon” for me.
Does CVS let you stack coupons?
@liz, My CVS does, but there is no corporate policy. It depends on your store.
crystal,
i need some help…i am fairly new to the cvs thing, but i am really loving find great deals. i felt like this was an especially good week at cvs, so i planned everything out–wrote down what to buy in each transaction and calculated the cost. alot of what i was spending hinged on the bayer meter. it was in my second transaction and i was using the ecbs to pay for my third transaction. but i was trying to hurry because there was someone in line behind me. what i didn’t realize was that the ecb that printed from the meter was only 5ecb instead of 15, but i have already rolled it into another transaction. the bottom of my receipt says that i received the 15ecb offer, but i didn’t! what can i do? can i try to return the meter? i have no way of showing what happened since i already used the ecb. have you ever had this happen? what would you suggest i do? my husband thinks i should just take the loss, but spending $10 extra dollars that i wasn’t planning on is a big deal when i only have $60/week to start out with!
help!
@leah, I hate to tell you this, especially as you’re starting out, but your husband may be right about taking the loss. This is irregular and a horrible way to start out but the Bayer was a system glitch for everyone from what I’d read. It sucks that this was how you got a start on it, but it’s good you were prepared. That alone will mean you have a great chance at doing well. When you’re printing a lot of ECBs, it’s hard to check. I personally noticed because it was supposed to be a big amount and I read about the glitch earlier.
Maybe you can double check the reciepts before you leave the store? Or if you know the amount you’re paying, double check if it’s higher, I guess? Good luck, this should work out for you. It’s always hard starting out so mistakes are imminent.
@leah,
The same thing happened to me. I went back to my car and looked at the flyer again to confirm that I was supposed to get $15 ECBs. I too had already spent the $5 ECBs that I did get, but I went back and showed the cashier the add that stated $15 ECBs for buying 1 glucose meter. She rememberd my transactions, and with NO problems, she printed me out an extra $10 ECBs. I was a little peeved, since it meant I had spent more out of pocket than I had wanted to, but as I look at it, I do still have those $10 extra ECBs to use and they don’t expire till early June.
Does anyone know of a good place to donate the glucose meter?
Did anyone else not have the Bayer Breeze 2 Glucose Monitor on their 4/25 RP? I can’t find it on mine. (CA)
In my area, they’re also giving an EB on a gallon of milk – which makes it $2.29: cheaper than anyplace except the warehouse stores!
I coudn’t find the CVS store coupon for Kotex. I tried look for it with another zip code but I coudn’t find it.
I think the coupon is not longer available
