BarriePace.com is going out of business. I’ve never heard of them before (but then, I do most of my shopping at the clearance racks at Target and Penney’s or thrift stores so what do I know?), but it appears they have a lot of high-end merchandise which was once priced in the $100-$200 range.

I found some cute dresses, finally managed to add them to my bag by using the catalog order, but when I try to check out my bag is always empty again. I’m guessing they’re either swamped or sold out. Bummer. Hope everyone else has better luck.

I ordered the all over lace dress , regularly $138. for $20., including shipping. I bought it in case my daughter needs a special occasion dress for a prom or dance. She actually liked it! If I picked the size wrong I figure I can sell it on Craigslist for $20.
Would someone please order the over $518. Donna Ricco Taffeta Gown for $40., please? I have no use for one but it would make me very happy to know that someone bought that gorgeous dress at that price.

I just checked on the status of the order that I placed Friday- 5 of the 8 items I had ordered have been cancelled, so just a heads up, that may happen.

Both of my dresses were cancelled. I had to check my order status. I wish they would have let me know. I have been waiting on them for my brother’s wedding in less then 2 weeks.
I just got a shipping confirmation email from them about the dresses I ordered. Some of the dresses I ordered were cancelled and removed from my order without even letting me know. So I paid almost $14 in shipping for two dresses!! I wouldn’t have bothered had I known the majority of my order had been removed. I understand they ran out of stock….but a quick email would have been nice.

Both of the dresses I ordered were shipped yesterday and are estimated to arrive Friday. Hopefully they’ll be worth it! The cost was great for that quality of dresses, but they styles were a little older and I’m hoping the fit will be good…
I ordered 8 dresses for a steal of a deal! I just got a shipment confirmation and it turns out 7 of them were cancelled! So for the one remaining dress…$11.50 shipping for a $9.80 dress! I’m going to be calling tomorrow morning to try and straighten that out – I never would’ve agreed for the order to go through like that!

Update: Spoke to Barrie Pace this morning and customer service was very nice and adjusted the shipping charges for me!
I ordered 4 dresses 5/9 . I just got 2 dresses today 2 of them were cancelled. But customer service adjusted the shipping charges for me. quality of dresses are great and they look so nice! thanks
