@debi, That’s a lot of savings! It sounds like you lucked out with a “newbie” cashier.

@debi, That’s interesting they let you use the $3/2 Suave deoderant coupon since the two deoderants come in one pack. Most places would only count that as one item.

I don’t know where you live but Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion is not $4.99 but its $5.49 at my target and the other Vaseline lotion that you can use the target coupon and the manufactures coupon that was $1.75 was 3.29 instead of $2.99 that I saw posted a few days ago. Apparently they vary in price at different Targets.

Kelly April 14, 2010 at 8:51 pm

@sue, Sue – The Target by me has the Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion priced at $5.99, so I’m right there with you.

Vaseline Sheer Infusion at my Target was 5.99 – I price checked to be sure. Will hold that coupon to see if it gets marked down.

I have had overage a couple times with manufacturer coupons (single coupon NOT stacked with a Target coupon) and I got the “overrage” (although I was making other purchases so I did NOT have a negative balance). I think they have to because they will be reimbursed that amount by the manufacturer. Now if you are using and Manu. Q AND a Target Q the register will adjust it down in my experience. fyi.

@Amy, Yep, I’m sure I would not have had a negative total, but since I was making additional purchases, the ‘negatives’ just wound up applying to those. Every time the coupon did not automatically scan, the cashier just asked “did you get these?” and I pulled them out of the bag, showed him, and he hit that magical button on the register that makes it go through!

Both my Target & Walmart refused to take the $1/1 Tide & $1/1 St. Ives for the travel size. Also, the Vaseline Sheer Infusion Body Lotion is $5.99 in Chicago (not $4.99) & the GE Energy Smart Lightbulbs start at $5.49 here, too. Since they wouldn’t take my coupons (for the travel size) I decided not to buy anything at all.

The Vaseline Sheer Infusion is $5.99 at the Target here in Florence, KY. Do you mind me asking what region you are in??
