There’s a high-value $1/1 Pecan Sandies coupon available here or here. You can use it to get Pecan Sandies for $0.50 at Walgreens this week. Here’s how:

Buy 2 Pecan Sandies at $2.50 each
Use 2 $1/1 printables here or here
Stack with the $2/2 Walgreens coupon from the April Coupon Booklet (found near the front of the store by the sales fliers)
$0.50 each after coupons

I tried this at my Walgreens and they wouldn’t take the internet coupons b/c the walgreens coupon reads like it is a manufacturer coupon — and wouldn’t scan after using the one in the monthly book.. so sad…

i wonder if you try in reverse order…..mc then wags. remember “real men work” (rr, mc, wags)

There is a really good recipe for Butterscotch pie that uses the pecan sandies:

I tried this too and the WAGS coupon wouldn’t scan – she tried that last. Bummer! I usually have no trouble at all.

I had trouble too….the manager came over and after looking it all over he over rode them and I was able to get them for .50 a package….not sure why it wouldn’t work…Last month I used a manufactur coupon and a coupon from their coupon book and it worked fine. Not sure the difference this time…

The coupon for the cookies in the Walgreens April coupon book is actually a manufacturer coupon, not a store coupon. Usually they are store coupons, but every now and then they’ll throw a mfg coupon in the booklet and confuse us all.

The gal tried the Wags first then the printed ones and a no go. So, she voided it and did the printed ones first, then the Wags and it went through fine. So now I always use the manufactures ones first and then Wags and it seems to work better.
