My friend, Yvonne, hosted a Ziploc House Party today. It was my first time to attend a House Party and it was so much fun! Not only were lots of great home organization tips shared, but we got some free products and coupons to take home.
I now know why so many of you love these House Parties and have raved about them to me. I’m definitely going to apply to host some of my own in the future–and let’s hope that eventually I’m chosen!
If you’d like to sign up to host a House Party, there are quite a few you can sign up for right now. Just click here to see the list. It’s free to host a party and, if you’re selected, you get lots of fun items to host the party plus freebies and coupons to send home with your guests!

Since Christmas, I’ve hosted a Photoworks party ($25 credit went toward a few presents!), Your Shape for the Wii (Got two games for free!!) and a sandwich thins party. I’m signed up for a bunch right now because they have some great ones coming up. I’m really hoping to get the MacDonald’s or Gerber house party.

I really like that divided Ziploc container. Are they in the stores?

I was one of the applicants selected to Host a Stouffer’s Toasted Sub House Party on April 11th.
I am so excited, this is my first one! I am waiting for my package to arrive, but the email said there will be 13 coupons to give away, 13 totes and supplies to host/feed my guests!! What a great concept and way to get feedback on their products. I do surveys for a few companies and I love getting samples to try/share!

Just hosted the DiGiorno one… so much FREE food, coupons, other fun things and no pressure for anyone to buy anything, in fact, they just get coupons and gifts! I signed up for a few more so maybe I’ll get chosen again!

I’m hosting my 2nd one in a couple of weeks – I did the Sandwich Thins party and I’ll be doing the 100-calorie pack party in April. So much fun!
Wendy says
Have fun! They must really like my demographics because I’ve been selected to do three in a short period of time.

I had a DiGiorno party, too. It was a lot of fun! They asked that I invite at least 10 people, but that was about it. We all had a great time. I will definitely do something like this again. When you have everyone bring a snack or drink to share, it cost us very little to host with all the free coupons. Highly recommend!

We are having our DiGiorno House Party tomorrow (a week late, which is okay with them). This was my first experience with House Party. I had a hard time finding the new Pizza & Breadsticks product. Safeway & Albertson’s didn’t have it. But Winco did! I am very impressed with their customer service. My package didn’t arrive until 3 days before the party so I emailed them. They tracked it and told me where to find the product. I’ll definitely sign up for a House Party again.
On a humorous note, the House Party that cracked me up with the “Ladies Who Laugh.” For Poise. LOL!

Hi Ladies!
These sound fabulous….I’d love to have one or some….but I am from Canada and I don’t think the concept of these have caught on here yet. Do you have any info to sign up for companies this side of the border?
Thanks for the info and have a great day! 🙂

LOVE House Party! We enjoy entertaining as it is but it’s fabulous when House Party gives you a big chunk of the party right in a shipping box! In the past 3 years I’ve hosted parties for Hersheys Bliss, Gerber Organics, Sargento Salad & Potato Finishers, Boca Burgers and Margaritaville (that one had a CRAZY party package with a Margarita Machine plus carrying case plus accessories plus EVERYTHING which totalled over $600, it was NUTS!). I highly recommend that everyone sign up at Houseparty.com and submit for a party that interests you. Honestly, be choosy. If it’s not something that you would buy yourself, then don’t submit to host that party. There are plenty of other parties that will come up that will fit you. Everything that I submitted for and got were all products or companies that I believe in. My friends and I have the best time at House Parties!

So no one came to your house to give a presentation or anything? They just sned the stuff and you give them a date?! There’s nothing to actually buy there, at your house, just coupons & samples?
Thank you! =o]
Crystal says
You got it. Nothing to buy, no sales presentation. Just free stuff and a fun time with friends!
It’s a fabulous word-of-mouth marketing program which leaves you with a great feeling for the party sponsors.

i recently had a maxwell house and velveeta cheese party. i love houseparty!!!

Are your friends pushed to buy things when you do these (like Pampered Chef, jewelry parties, etc)? They sound like fun and I’d love to have one, but I hate asking my friends to come over hoping they’ll buy something.
Amanda C. says
@Kristina,
Nope, when you are chosen for one of these parties as a host, you will get a box in the mail about a week or so before the scheduled party date. Depending on what kind of party it is, all of the supplies will be in the box, or you will be given very high value coupons or free item coupons to go to the store to purchase the main things. You are also given all kinds of party favors and additional coupons to hand out to your friends and they can use them to purchase some stuff at the store if they choose to. No pressure at all.
I have hosted several different parties (Juicy Juice, DiGiorno, Sandwich Thins) and I have another one coming up. For the DiGiorno party I was sent either 5 or 6 FREE Pizza coupons, 15 $4 coupons to hand out to guests, a pizza cutter, party beads, a hot mitt and a few other things. Sandwich Thins was five $4 coupons, 15 sets of recipe cards, 15 grocery list pads, 15 reusuable shopping bags and more. Juicy Juice I was sent 6 containers of juice, coupons for more juice, 15 reusuable drinking bottles, 15 shopping bags, 15 decks of cards etc.
All you have to do is agree to host the party if you are chosen and invite people and in a way you are promoting the items by handing out coupons and all the freebies. They just hope that by word of mouth that everyone spreads the word! 🙂
You should definitely sign up and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
(Sorry that got so long, lol)

I have hosted three parties now, Domino’s, Haagen Dazs, and Your Shape. I love them! It’s a great way to try new products and get together with friends. Plus, now my friends know that there truly is no “catch” or requirement to buy anything, and they beg to come which means a better turn out. House Party rocks!
Shelly says
That’s funny. I got the Digiorno too. I couldn’t believe how many coupons for $4 they sent with. They are on sale starting Sunday at my local grocery store for $5 so everyone that was here gets to get a meal for $1 for there family.

I hosted a DiGiorno pizza party too and invited all my family over and we had such a BLAST!!!! You should of seen the Walmart clerks face when I put my 6 pizzas with breadsticks boxes down and 6 coupons to get them free….she was so trying to figure out if she could do it…but in the end she was like wow 38.00 free….good deal for you!!!

I just hosted a digiorno pizza party and all of us had a blast. We got coupons for free pizzas to host the party with and a bunch of coupons to give away to friends. PLUS, we got a pizza cutter, apron and some handouts for at the party. It really is a cheap way to get your friends together and just have fun. I highly recommend house party.
