I’m only familiar with Dominicks here….but don’t forget that they accept expired coupons! There is also coupons in 1/31 SS (any) and 1/3 S1 (yogurt dressing).

Just remember that Marie’s dressing is sold in the refrigerated section and needs to be refrigerated right away- it’s not a salad dressing that can be stored on the shelf- so make sure you can use it up or give it away before it goes bad!

Does anyone know if these deals are after coupons or before?

Annaliese March 12, 2010 at 10:44 am

@Dave,

The instant savings are before coupons, but after your club card. That’s why you can still use the coupon to get it for free! :)

I’m not sure about other Safeway affiliates, but Vons stores in our area do not allow more than two like coupons in one transaction. So using five at one time would not work unfortunately.

Hi There,

I’m wondering if you can buy more than 5 of the salad dressings in one transaction and they all are $1. As long as I have 5 I should be good right? Or does it need to be broken up into several transactions. Like say I had 7 coupons could I use all of them at once and get all for free??

Thanks so much!!

autumn,
as long as you buy in multiples of 5 the products are $1 each. So you could use 5 $1/1 coupons and be fine. If you wanted to buy more than 5 it would be most cost effective to buy 10 and if you had only 7 $1/1 coupons you could use them all and pay $3 oop for 10 products! Does that help?

Is this dressing any good?

Went to two different Safeways in Fort Collins, CO. One is the old fashion type store and one was a fancy newly remodeled store, neither of them carried the YOGURT version of this dressing that all of the coupons are for. So you might want to call ahead if this is the reason for your trip. Good Luck!

I did this deal at a fairly new Safeway in MD today. I picked up 5 different varieties and had a coupon for each one that was NOT for the yogurt version ONLY. I did have those too but my location did not carry any yogurt jars. I had to have her manually put them in one by one as they did not scan. I think these were from the Marie’s actual website. Anyhow, 5 free bottles of dressing is great for me. On top of that I had a Bounty deal where the 12 roll was on sale for $11.99 down from $15.99 plus I had loaded a $3 e-coupon on Safeway.com and then had a $1 coupon too. So the total trip was $8.70 club card savings of $18.96, coupon savings of $5. Total savings value $26.96 – YAY ME!!
