There was a rebate form from last Sunday’s paper in the Parade or USA Weekend insert for free Prevacid 24 hour. You can choose either 14 ct, 28 ct or 42 ct. Here’s how you can buy this at Rite Aid and turn it into a money-maker:

Prevacid 42 ct – $29.99
Use $5/$20 printable
Stack with $10/1 Prevacid Video Value printable or $10/1 printable here
Spend $14.99 out of pocket, Send in for $25.99 rebate (from Sunday’s paper)
Free plus $11 overage

my parade coupon says only a 50% rebate. Is there another coupon I should be looking for or is this it?

Beth March 3, 2010 at 10:55 am

Shoot, my Parade in NE OH only has coupons!

Nancy March 3, 2010 at 11:14 am

We only had coupons too.

Julie March 3, 2010 at 11:15 am

We only had coupons in CT, too.

Amy March 3, 2010 at 11:15 am

You can combine Video Values coupons with manu qs! So it would be 4.99 plus get back 25.99 in a rebate! I wish I hadn’t traded my rebate now.

Laura March 3, 2010 at 11:16 am

We got both coupons in our paper last week. Was nice! Got $10, $4, $6 and rebate!

Jen March 3, 2010 at 11:32 am

Actually Amy RA’s coupon policy won’t allow an internet printable over $5 in value so that won’t work. It will work with a regualy manny though if you have that option.

I did the deal last night, BUT the Rite Aid VV coupon is a manufactures coupon and does not look at all like a VV coupon. So I don’t think you can stack both. I was able to print a $10 coupon (posted last week?) and they did take it plus the $5 off $25, so profit will be $15!

We just got coupons in my local newspaper–Newsday in NY…I got the rebate in my Sunday paper 2 weeks ago and did the deal…worked beautifully!

Heartland Hannah March 3, 2010 at 12:51 pm

Actually the fine print in the rebate says you receive the price paid less the $4 coupon that was on the same page as the rebate coupon. Still a good deal though.

Emily March 4, 2010 at 9:38 pm

@Heartland Hannah,
The $25.99 that she put for the rebate amount already has the $4 taken out…because the purchase price is $29.99.

I did this deal today and then realized I should have used pretax HSA money to purchase it. Hope this helps someone else.

Lisa March 3, 2010 at 4:57 pm

@Marjorie Whitney, I always forget HSA , thank you thank you I will definitely use it!

I thought about doing this since it is a money maker… but I, nor no-one I know uses this product. Any ideas on what I can do with it since we need to cut out the UPC for the rebate? Will a donation place still take it if the box is cut?

Nicci March 4, 2010 at 7:51 am

Where was the rebate form? I have looked thru my paper but dont see one. Hoping I am just looking in the wrong place~any ideas?

fairydust March 4, 2010 at 11:52 am

@Nicci, It was on the back page of our Sunday Parade magazine

Nicci March 4, 2010 at 1:04 pm

@fairydust,

Thanks!

So does anyone know if the $4 mfr coupon from the paper can be combined with the$10. vv coupon? The vv coupon does say mfr coupon.

Jug March 15, 2010 at 8:23 am

I have the coupon for the $25.99 rebate offer. The fine print advises that the rebate is “Void in RI and where restricted, prohibited or taxed.” The “taxed” comment concerned me because I don’t know if they were referring to a tax on the product purchase or the rebate amount. I also don’t know if you can combine coupons because I have a $6 coupon and a $10 coupon both of which state “Cannot be combined with any other offer”. My local Rite Aid advertises the product for $25.99 and reduces the price by $4 with a discount sticker on the package and the addition of the $4 newspaper coupon. That is an $8 discount from $25.99 but I am concerned that Novartis won’t honor the rebate because their rebate for refers only to the $4 coupon.
