these are great donation items for shelters and food pantries- no one ever thinks of donating them

This is great! Good point anoo on the $3.99 but still free!

My store will not allow a Buy One Get One Free coupon AND another $ off coupon. They say that the Buy One Get One Free is like a $ off 2 coupon, so if I wanted to use the Buy One Get One Free coupon AND another $ off coupon, I would have to purchase 3 items. Is my store just being mean or are other people’s stores just being nice? Thank you.

@MrsK, I have the exact same question, because I have also never been able to combo coupons like that.

It depends on the cashier.

I have been couponing for many years and any time I have ever tried to do this at CVS, the register beeps. For me, it’s a signal that it’s just not the right thing to do. I mean, I get it: technically you are still buying the product; you are just buying it for less. At the same time, though, all of the coupons say not to be used with any other offer.

I bought 2, used the coupons mentioned and did NOT get the $4 ECB. I only paid 64 cents in total because I used several ECB that I already had. But it’s disappointing not to get the ECB. Did anyone else have that trouble? Should I have purchased 4 at one time instead (I was ready to do that but they only had 3 packages so I just bought the 2 instead.) I’m wondering if the machine thought I only bought 1 at the point.

I tried this but did not get the ECB’s. when I got home, I read it is only for the regular 24 ct. Of course, it wasn’t labeled on the shelf and CVS is not printing the monthlly book anymore, so there was no way to show the cashier. I will try again for the correct size. crossing my fingers.

i didnt get the 4ecb either but did buy the 24ct….hmm i’m going to looking into it.

I was able to get the ECBs on the 24 ct. regular maxi, but not on the deodorized packs. Also, did not work on the thin packs.
