I got this deal on Friday when Wags had the 15% off Friends and Family discount. Got 9 tubes and it ended up being a $3.45 money maker. (I had 1.00 Qs).

You may want to check you WAGS price because at my store in Ohio the regulary price is $2.79 so it would be $0.54 after coupons.

Quick question: how do you get the Walgreens coupon book? And could you just print the coupons at the link or is that not accepted?

Wendy February 15, 2010 at 9:42 am

At my Walgreens, the regular price was $2.59 – which still makes it a good deal.

Jordan February 15, 2010 at 11:00 am

Priced at 2.79 at my wags too.

There is also another $ .75/1 from the 1/17 P&G, so you can do this twice!!

I’m in South Carolina and the price is $2.29 at several Walgreens here.

Grrr, I just went to get the toothpaste and they wouldn’t take the Feb book coupon AND the P&G coupon. She couldn’t even tell me why!!!

Our store does not allow to use 2 coupons for the same product. Like I mentioned before the manager did not accept it and said that both the coupons were manufacturer ones so we should use only one.

Crystal February 15, 2010 at 2:16 pm

According to Walgreen’s written coupon policy, you can use both a store coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon. Unfortunately, not all store managers understand this.

Raymond Hill February 15, 2010 at 3:17 pm

@Crystal, The Walgreens February coupon booklet I have shows that the $1.50 coupon is a manufacturer’s coupon and not a store coupon. Does that matter when combining with a second manufacturer coupon such as the P&G $.75/1?

Crystal February 15, 2010 at 3:49 pm

From what I understand, all the coupons in the Walgreens coupon booklet are considered “store coupons” and can be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons.

Ness February 18, 2010 at 6:47 pm

@Raymond Hill, The Walgreens coupon booklet are manufacturer coupons. They are not store coupons. Read the fine print at the bottom :)

At my store in Utah, the sale price was $2.69. The cashier was reluctant to combine the coupons but I explained that one was a manufacturer’s coupon and one was a store coupon so they should be able to be combined. She did it for me, but said the manager wouldn’t do it. It was a little irritating, but I guess you have to endure that stuff sometimes to get your deals.

snagged three toothpastes for 12 cents total! Score!

Jeff February 18, 2010 at 9:04 pm

Are Wags coupons printable?

Jeff February 18, 2010 at 9:48 pm

@Jeff, I found my answer…
