Would you like to earn a little side money taking surveys? Pinecone Research is once again open here for new registrations! But hurry, it will close up fast. (Thanks, Linnea!)

Pinecone Research is one of my favorite survey companies. They pay $3 for every survey completed and the checks come within days of completing a survey.

I also highly recommend MySurvey. I signed up with them a few months ago and have already been paid by them. Unlike many survey companies, you earn points for every survey and screener you take and these points can add up quickly! Go here to sign up with MySurvey.

I signed up with them and was accepted — FINALLY! It is my third or fourth time trying! I am so excited!

Emily February 19, 2010 at 3:26 pm

I also signed up with them the last time they were open (about a week ago or so), and was accepted (after one previous unsuccessful try). I recently completed the registration process after receiving my welcome e-mail and am eagerly awaiting my first survey.

I signed up with Mysurvey but only have heard from them like once in the past three months. I do not think I will ever get anything from them because it will take to long. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

jess February 19, 2010 at 4:07 pm

@Jill, Can’t seem to get any surveys from, them either :(

Shannon @ Mommie Cheapest February 19, 2010 at 5:17 pm

@Jill,
I have been with MySurvey for about 7 years and have made somewhere around $140. The surveys don’t come very frequently, but they are extremely reliable and pay you a small amount even for surveys you don’t qualify for. Usually you won’t hear from them for a while and just when you forget about them, you get an email asking you to take a survey! I have two in my inbox right now. But respond quickly — if you take too long to respond they disappear. Hope that helps!

I love Pinecone Research, I get 2-3 paid surveys a month and get paid very promptly.

I also signed up for My Survey recently, and haven’t gotten any surveys beyond the initial ones when I signed up.

Just signed up with pinecone research for the first time now I’m waiting to see if I’m accepted. If any of you have participated in this before can you share some insite on the process. Thanks!

Tracy February 19, 2010 at 4:45 pm

@Crystal,

I signed up with them about a month ago. They sent me an email, about a week after I filled out the form, to let me know I was accepted. About 2 weeks later I got my 1st survey. I just received my first $3 check in the mail today. It’s the only survey I’ve done for them, but so far I’m having a positive experience. :)

@Tracy,

I have been with them for several months and bring in around $12.00/month…….not going to get rich by any means, but it is nice to see an extra check in the mail!

Michelle K February 19, 2010 at 3:57 pm

Just signed up….waiting to see if I’m accepted. Thanks for posting! Would it be wise to get a seperate email address for these surveys or do they all come from Pinecone? I’m just worried about thinking it’s junk mail and trashing the emails.

Tracy February 19, 2010 at 4:49 pm

@Michelle K,
I just recently started using online survey companies. I set up a gmail account that I use just for the surveys. This way my inbox for my regular account doesn’t get flooded. I’m sure once you are accepted by Pinecone, you can change the email address that you won’t to use with them.

Pinecone Research is a great company to use

Robin February 19, 2010 at 4:36 pm

I like Pine Cone. I did about 5 surveys in December, only a couple so far for Jan/ Feb but they are legit. I qualify for most of the surveys they send me and they pay fast. I wish I could get more surveys from them but I have gotten a couple of products too which was nice.

Shannon February 19, 2010 at 5:20 pm

I’ve found that I don’t qualify for very many surveys with any of these organizations. I think it is because I don’t own my home, use credit cards, or make very many large purchases.

Alissabeth February 19, 2010 at 5:40 pm

I haven’t heard from Pinecone Research for months. They are a very good company with great surveys and product trials with surveys.

CJ February 19, 2010 at 5:58 pm

I’ve done 4 surveys this year and gotten the checks soon after completing the surveys. Great program to earn a little extra money.

Valerie February 19, 2010 at 6:17 pm

I joined about a month ago and have already completed 4 surveys. I also have them put my money in my paypal account which usually happens a few hours after I finish the surveys. Love it!

Courtney February 19, 2010 at 7:03 pm

I have applied to Pinecone several times but never made the cut. On the other hand, MySurvey has been sending me a steady stream of surveys since I joined a few months ago.

Lisa H February 19, 2010 at 7:19 pm

@Courtney,

Same thing here! I joined MySurvey the last time Crystal posted about them, and am close to my first 1,000 points.

Courtney February 19, 2010 at 7:24 pm

Forgot to mention one tip for those of you looking for more survey invitations from MySurvey. When I signed up, they asked whether anyone else in my household would be willing to take surveys and if so, what their ages and genders are. I entered this info for my husband and kids and now my husband gets at least as many survey offers as I do. Guess the opinions of a 43-year-old married dad are a hot commodity :) My kids get survey offers every now and then, too, and they love filling them out.

Tamara Austin February 19, 2010 at 8:08 pm

I love pinecone research. I do somewhere between 8 and 10 surveys each month. I always have payment in my paypal account the next day. I also get great free products to try out.

cwaltz February 19, 2010 at 9:27 pm

I got accepted for pinecone last time you posted the link. I haven’t gotten any surveys yet but I am looking forward to them. I have been pretty lucky because the end of last year I qualified for a 20/20 research forum and in January was invited back for a follow up. If you all are not signed up for this I highly recommend signing up. I got a $150 and $100 Amazon gift card for the 2 participating projects I was involved in. Not only that, but the online forums were alot of fun.

I love Pinecone but really haven’t had luck with any of the other companies. Pinecone always gets the money into my Paypal within a couple of days and the surveys seem pretty reasonable for the pay. I only wish they sent me more! :)

Ambrosia February 20, 2010 at 4:59 am

I love Pinecone! I don’t get as many surveys as I used to (then again, I get the most from them, I have trouble qualifying for many other sites), but when I do I’m paid quickly. I have also received product to try out before it’s made public, which included a follow up survey for more money. =)

Whitney February 20, 2010 at 8:09 am

With MySurvey – it helps if you log in every few days. While I’m not sure if it actually does make a difference, but it sure seems to! I’ve been with them for about three years or so and make about $100 a year by taking their surveys. It’s certainly not a whole lot of money but it’s definitely worth it. Especially because I fill out only one of every two or three surveys they send my way.

Judy February 20, 2010 at 6:03 pm

I’ve been a member since September, I think… Gee, I’m envious of the 4, 8, and 12 surveys people are getting per month. I get one every 4 – 6 weeks… maybe. But, it’s “something” (grateful for it) and they pay promptly.
